Masidlakon Elementary School had the privilege of welcoming representatives from the DPWH Central Office, DPWH Regional Office IX, DPWH Zamboanga del Norte District Engineering Office, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), and the Schools Division Office of Dapitan City during the site inspection of the schoolโs ongoing classroom repair project.
The inspection aimed to monitor the progress of the project and ensure that the repair works are implemented in accordance with approved plans, quality standards, and safety requirements, reaffirming the agenciesโ shared commitment to providing safe, resilient, and learner-friendly learning spaces.
The classroom repair project is funded by the Department of Education (DepEd) through the National Governmentโs Basic Education Facilities Program (BEFP) and is implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), with the support and monitoring of the Schools Division Office of Dapitan City. This collaborative effort ensures that the project is carried out in accordance with established quality standards and specifications, ultimately providing a safe and conducive learning environment for our learners.
