Another Project Nearing Completion! 🏗️✨

Another milestone is taking shape at Masidlakon Elementary School! 💚

What started as a vision is now becoming a reality—our School Canteen and Gate Project are steadily taking form and are almost ready to serve our learners and strengthen our school community. 🏫✨

These improvements are more than just structures; they represent our continued commitment to providing a safer, more functional, and more welcoming school environment for everyone.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who continues to support and contribute to the improvement and development of our school. Truly, little by little, we are building a better place for our learners.

Another project. Another milestone. Another reason to be grateful.

POTUNGAN DISTRICT ATHLETIC MEET 2026

The Masidlakon Shiners proudly showed their spirit and determination as they participated in the Opening Ceremony and the first day of the Potungan District Athletic Meet 2026. From the loud cheers and proud uniforms to the courage displayed by our young athletes, every moment was a celebration of teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and school pride.

Beyond winning medals, today reminded us that every athlete who steps onto the playing court with courage is already a champion in the making.

One day down, more challenges ahead. Keep shining, Masidlakon Shiners!

SPORTS SEASON BEGINS | In preparation for the upcoming District Meet, Masidlakon Elementary School officially commenced its sports activities and tryouts to identify learners who will represent the school in various sporting events.

The activity aims to develop athletic potential while fostering discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship among the Masidlakon Shiners.

As the journey to the District Meet begins, may every aspiring athlete continue to shine with passion, determination, and excellence—bringing pride and honor to Masidlakon Elementary School.

𝐎𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐍 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃𝐁𝐘𝐄 𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄 | 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦

In support of the Department of Health’s Oplan Goodbye Bulate, the National Deworming Month campaign conducted every January and July, Masidlakon Elementary School successfully conducted its School-Based Deworming Program to help protect learners from soil-transmitted helminth infections and promote their overall health and well-being.

Prior to the administration of the deworming tablets, learners were provided meals to ensure that the medication was taken safely and comfortably.

The activity was led by DOH-HRH Nurse Carmi Rychen Sybico Verano in partnership with the dedicated Barangay Health Workers of Barangay Masidlakon, with the support of District School Nurse Joyce Martillano. Through this collaborative effort, eligible learners received free deworming tablets as part of the government’s continuing commitment to ensuring that every child stays healthy, active, and ready to learn.

As part of the activity, District School Nurse Joyce Martillano also provided free blood pressure (BP) check-ups for parents, teachers, and Barangay Health Workers, followed by a visual screening for our Kindergarten learners to help identify possible vision concerns at an early stage.

𝗔𝗡𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗠𝗜𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗠𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗗𝗟𝗔𝗞𝗢𝗡 𝗘𝗟𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗥𝗬 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟

Masidlakon Elementary School takes another significant step toward providing a more conducive and learner-friendly educational environment as the Office of the Building Official (OBO) conducted a site inspection in preparation for the construction of a new classroom building.

The site inspection was led by Engr. Joselito R. Potoy, Enforcement Division Head, together with Engr. Ike C. Tagapan, Engineer II, Engr. Reymond Clark S. Adasa, Building Inspector, and company. Also present during the activity were Delia Q. Andag, Mia E. Millan, and Noah M. Elumba, who joined and supported the inspection.

Masidlakon Elementary School extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Office of the Building Official and everyone involved for taking the time to conduct the site inspection and for their continued support in the realization of this important infrastructure project.

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵, 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 🍎🧼

Masidlakon Elementary School warmly welcomed Mr. Gwilym Elumba, Division Nurse, and company during their monitoring visit to assess the implementation of the School-Based Feeding Program. The activity underscores the Department of Education’s commitment to ensuring the effective delivery of nutrition interventions that support learners’ health, growth, and academic success.

During the visit, Mr. Elumba and company also distributed hand soap to learners, promoting proper hand hygiene and reinforcing the importance of maintaining a clean, safe, and healthy school environment.

𝗦𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗿 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁

Masidlakon Elementary School had the privilege of welcoming representatives from the DPWH Central Office, DPWH Regional Office IX, DPWH Zamboanga del Norte District Engineering Office, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), and the Schools Division Office of Dapitan City during the site inspection of the school’s ongoing classroom repair project.

The inspection aimed to monitor the progress of the project and ensure that the repair works are implemented in accordance with approved plans, quality standards, and safety requirements, reaffirming the agencies’ shared commitment to providing safe, resilient, and learner-friendly learning spaces.

The classroom repair project is funded by the Department of Education (DepEd) through the National Government’s Basic Education Facilities Program (BEFP) and is implemented by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), with the support and monitoring of the Schools Division Office of Dapitan City. This collaborative effort ensures that the project is carried out in accordance with established quality standards and specifications, ultimately providing a safe and conducive learning environment for our learners.
