Please be informed that NGCP has scheduled a power interruption this morning from 5:00 AM to 9:00 AM.

Our ballet classes will resume as soon as the electricity comes back, hopefully by 9:00 AM. 😊

Scheduled power interruption in parts of Zamboanga del Norte province on Saturday, 22 August 2026.

Time: 5:00AM-9:00AM

Affected: ZANECO ( Zaneco, Inc. ) (Polo, Polanco, Irasan, Petra Cement and Sindangan Substations)

Reason: Hotspot correction activities on line-associated equipment.

Specific affected areas are determined by the electric cooperative. NGCP will exert all efforts to restore power earlier or as scheduled.

📖 ABOUT THE GUEST MASTER INSTRUCTOR:

Nicolas Pacaña is one of the finest classical dancers to emerge from the Philippines. Born in Cebu, Pacaña began his dance training under Madame Fe Sala Villarica. He made his professional debut with the Honolulu City Ballet before joining The Boston Ballet in 1976 as a soloist, quickly rising to Principal Dancer. During his tenure in Boston, he toured internationally across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, frequently sharing the stage with legendary dancer Rudolf Nureyev.
In 1982, he joined the Atlanta Ballet as a premier dancer, winning critical acclaim for his technical mastery and expressive artistry. Notably, in 1987, he famously stepped in to replace an injured Mikhail Baryshnikov in the Don Quixote Pas de Deux with only four hours' notice.
Alongside his international performing career, Mr. Pacaña is an accomplished choreographer whose works (Peter Pan, Beauty & the Beast, Paganini) have been commissioned worldwide. He has dedicated his career to training, mentoring, and inspiring generations of classical and contemporary dancers as Artistic Director of Balletcenter Cebu.

Every little ballerina starts with the basics. 🩰

A glimpse of one of our ballet classes at Jeté Performing Arts Studio – Dipolog Branch, where our students build strong foundations every week.

Ballet is not only about beautiful performances. Behind every graceful movement is patience, practice, and learning the proper foundation.

Through exercises like floor work, stretching, and basic ballet positions, children gradually develop strength, flexibility, coordination, discipline, and confidence.

Every child learns at their own pace. Some movements may feel challenging at first, but with encouragement and consistent practice, they continue to improve little by little.

At Jeté Performing Arts Studio, we believe that every step matters, from the first time a child learns a position to the moment they proudly perform on stage.

Congratulations to our dancers from the main branch for their wonderful performances at Centerstage, SM Seaside City Cebu last June 27–28, 2026. Their hard work, dedication, and passion truly shone on stage.

These achievements remind us that ballet is more than learning dance steps, it builds confidence, discipline, perseverance, and unforgettable memories.
