Good day, Selinog Integrated School community!

Please be informed that afternoon classes at Selinog Integrated School are suspended today, August 19, 2026, due to the high heat index of approximately 42°C.

This measure is being implemented to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of our learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel.

We encourage everyone to:

Suspension of Classes Due to Prevailing Heat Index 📣

Please be informed that classes at Selinog Integrated School are suspended effective 1:00 o’clock in the afternoon today, August 18, 2026, due to the prevailing heat index.

This measure is being implemented to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of our learners, teaching personnel, and school staff amid the extreme heat conditions.

All learners are advised to:

* Stay indoors and avoid prolonged exposure to extreme heat;
* Drink plenty of water and stay properly hydrated;
* Avoid strenuous physical activities during periods of intense heat; and
* Follow the necessary safety and health precautions at all times.

Parents and guardians are likewise requested to ensure that their children remain in a safe and cool environment and are adequately hydrated.

Everyone’s cooperation and understanding are highly appreciated as we prioritize the health and safety of our entire school community.
