𝑬𝑪𝑯𝑶𝑬𝑺 𝑶𝑭 𝑨𝑳𝑨𝑴𝑷𝑨𝑻𝑨𝑵 2026 🎭🎨

When the curtain officially fell on February 27, the melodies did not fade; they settled into the halls of JRMSU-Main Campus. POEMians, together with the university’s student-artists, came together to bring National Arts Month to a spectacular close.

Spearheaded by the RCCPCW and the BCAED Arts Guild, the month-long celebration unfolded through a vibrant display of color, rhythm, and creativity. From the first brushstroke on February 13 to the final bow at the closing program, ALAMPATAN 2026 became more than a celebration of National Arts Month—it became a testament to the ways in which culture and the arts continue to breathe life into the university community.

Though the celebration has come to an end, the stories and expressions it brought forth remain. For POEMians, the closing of ALAMPATAN 2026 is not simply an ending, but another invitation to create art that speaks volumes and to provide a platform for the often-unspoken truths and stories that deserve to be heard.

𝗣𝗢𝗘𝗠 𝗙𝗢𝗥𝗨𝗠 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐃𝐒 𝐇𝐀𝐕𝐄 𝐁𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐒𝐏𝐎𝐊𝐄𝐍, 𝐀 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐁𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐒 📖✍️

Every academic year begins with a blank page—one waiting to be filled with new voices, new stories, and possibilities yet to unfold. For the 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐎𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫𝐬 (𝐏𝐎𝐄𝐌), that page was opened anew as the BAELS community gathered for its first 𝙋𝙊𝙀𝙈 𝙁𝙤𝙧𝙪𝙢 of AY 2026–2027.

In a tradition that welcomes every new beginning, our 𝘴𝘰𝘱𝘩𝘰𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘴, 𝘫𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘳𝘴, and 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘪𝘰𝘳𝘴 opened their pages to the newest members of the BAELS community—the 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙚𝙨, whose voices are now becoming part of the larger narrative we continue to write together. It was more than a simple welcome; it was a passing of stories, lessons, and possibilities from one generation of English majors to the next.

But every community needs voices that listen, lead, and speak for the collective. Thus, the forum also marked the 𝙚𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙋𝙊𝙀𝙈 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙨—each entrusted with a role in shaping the organization’s next chapter.

Because in English Language Studies, words are more than structures on a page. They are how we understand one another, preserve stories, challenge ideas, and give meaning to the world around us. And just as every sentence needs a voice and every story needs its storytellers, 𝘗𝘖𝘌𝘔 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘴 𝘪𝘵𝘴 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦.
