Samaelody Piano Tutorial I don't teach to impress. I teach because I've seen how music heals, how it comforts, how it brings people closer. Let's play. Let's grow.

And if I can be a small part of that for you – that's more than enough for me. Let's enjoy the journey together. 🎹

From Siargao to Dinagat, real quick. 😁

I had the opportunity to visit my online student from Albur, Dinagat Islands. It was truly a wholesome and fun experience as I also got to savor the stunning scenery of their hometown.

Although online classes offer comfort and convenience, seeing them in person—sharing a genuine moment beyond the screen—was a beautiful reminder of why I do what I do.

If you've been thinking about piano—no matter your age—this is your quiet invitation. No rush. No expectations. Just a teacher who meets you where you are and a piano.

I'm currently based in Siargao, and I can also cater to students in Surigao City starting August. I offer online lessons for flexibility and in-person lessons for that classic connection. You pick what feels right. 😉

🎹 DM to inquire. I'd genuinely love to help you begin.

I never learned piano formally.

What little I know I picked up sideways, accidentally, the way most things in music actually get learned.

When I was younger my sister had piano lessons.

I wasn’t enrolled.

But I would hang out at the piano teacher’s house and watch them play, absorbing things

The whole keyboard makes sense once you find this one note.

Everything else is just this same pattern repeating to the left and to the right.

Look at the black keys.

They appear in groups of two and groups of three, alternating all the way across the keyboard.

Find a group of two black keys.

The white key directly to the left of those two black keys is C.

Now find the C that’s roughly in the middle of the whole keyboard.

That’s Middle C.

That’s your home base.

That’s where everything starts.

People who play an instrument regularly have higher executive function skills than non-musicians. Read for more on the case for musical training in schools: https://hgse.me/2I4tdnj
