Dao National High School proudly congratulates the talented writers of Ang Hinapunan – Official Publication and School Paper of DNHS for their remarkable achievements in different journalism categories, guided by the theme “Empowering Truth, Building Resilience: Campus Journalism in the Face of Disasters.”

We commend Angel Macabante (Grade 11) for securing 3rd Place in Editorial Cartooning (English), Kiesha Ceana Relator (Grade 11) for placing 10th in Sports Writing (English), and Cedrrick Terence Wayne Arcenas (Grade 12) for earning 5th Place in Editorial Cartooning (Filipino). These writers were trained and guided by Mrs. Analie O. Magbanua (English) and Mr. John Paul E. Isada (Filipino). Congratulations as well to Chennel Marie Ebrada for achieving 7th Place in Mobile Journalism (Filipino) under the guidance of Mrs. Rey Ann Mayuga.

Cebal at Cullo, Wagi sa Division Meet ‘25

Sa bawat pagpalo ng bola at bawat paghampas ng raketa, muling namayani ang lakas, husay, at determinasyon ng dalawang natatanging atleta sa larong Lawn Tennis—isang patunay ng kanilang matinding dedikasyon at walang sawang pagsusumikap.

Si Rhian G. Cebal ng Grade 10–SPA Jessica Soho, kasalukuyang Presidente ng SPA Student Government, at si Precious Athena E. Cullo ng Grade 7–SPA Jovita Fuentes, ay kapwa nagwagi at magdadala ng karangalan sa Departamento ng SPA bilang opisyal na kinatawan sa Western Visayas Regional Athletics Association (WVRAA).

Isang malaking karangalan para sa Departamento ng SPA ang tagumpay na ito. Ang inyong sipag, determinasyon, at kahusayan ay inspirasyon sa kapwa ninyo mag-aaral.

Patuloy ninyong dalhin ang sigla, puso, at dangal ng DNHS-SPA sa Regional Meet!

Due to the 22nd Tropical Cyclone “Verbena,” classes were temporarily suspended.

Due to the Super Typhoon "Uwan" (Fung-Wong), Malacañang has issued Memorandum Circular No. 106, mandating the suspension of classes in all levels, both public and private, as well as work in government offices in affected regions on November 10–11.

Agencies involved in basic, vital, and health services, along with disaster preparedness and response, will continue operations to ensure public safety and essential services.

Due to Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 3 raised for Bagyong Tino (Kalmaegi), classes were previously suspended. However, as of today, the suspension of classes has been officially lifted.
