⚜️ LEADERSHIP IN ACTION! ⚜️

The Malonoy National High School Senior Scout Outfit 82 Banog successfully conducted the Institutional Scout Youth Forum last January 23–24, bringing together young leaders for two days of meaningful dialogue, leadership, and active participation.

During the forum, Senior Scouts presented resolutions, engaged in floor debates, and democratically elected voting and observer delegates who will represent the institution in the upcoming Capiz Council Scout Youth Forum.

The event was graced by our esteemed Guest Speaker, Sir Baltazar Paja, ALT, District Field Commissioner, who shared valuable insights on youth leadership and civic responsibility. Also present were representatives from the Girl Scouts of the Philippines, SSLG, and other student organizations, strengthening unity and collaboration among youth leaders.

Indeed, this forum empowered voices, sharpened minds, and shaped future leaders—Scouting truly builds tomorrow, today!

⚜️ One voice. One vote. One vision for the youth. ⚜️

2025 is truly a year of history and firsts as Banogs of Outfit 82 made another story worth archiving as we joined the 33rd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree held at Botolan, Zambales last December 14-20, 2025.

This event gathered the scouts and scout leaders across Asia-Pacific Region in a fun, engaging and educational scouting activity. Our 13 scouts and two scout leaders made their long journey from the soul of Capiz to the very warm and majestic Zambales to experience this once in a lifetime event.

Our APR story started as a mere statement "Hala may APR, anu ini?, majoin ta" without any second thought as we believed on our will to join scouting activities. Challenges formed-financial, worries and support were our hurdles but we never faltered, as Banogs, we soared high and at last we stepped on the lahar fields of Botolan and was able to meet great people.

We endured the travel so long our butt sored, the overwhelming heat that squeezed our sweat and strong wind that topples our tent. But as resilient and strong Banogs, we emerged and was able to learned a lot of things that cannot be traded with anything. We were even blessed to be part of the National Court of Honor for Eagle Scouts which we never thought we can experience.

And as we now settle ourselves in the comfort of own home this Christmas, we would like to give our deepest gratitude and scout salute to those people who were our foundation and help us reach Zambales.

To the donors and kindhearted individual who helped through financial support, we cannot mention you one by one but truly you were the instrument our scouts were able to have this once in a lifetime opportunity.

To Hon. Fredenil Castro, Governor of the Province of Capiz, Hon Jane Castro, Congresswoman of the 2nd District and Hon. Howard Guintu Congressman of the 1st District for the blessings you shared thus helping our scouts reach Zambales without any worries.

To Hon Jimbo Barruela, our supportive mayor who were with us in any kind of support since day 1 of our scouting movement, thank you yor for helping us in our logistics to the point you used your personal vehicle just to bring us to our destination.

To Hon. Jhaja Fuentes and Hon Aarron Carillo, thank you for the support.Every time we ask, you never made a second thought in helping us.

To the faculty and staff of Malonoy National High School, thank you so much as your pabaon really made us through. We hope we made you proud.

To the donors and our constant support from Malonoy ES, Sir Baltazar Paja, Sir Rodil Estrellan, Sir Nam-ay and Sir Tito - our scout leaders in the district, Barangay Officials from Malonoy, Ilas Norte, Daplas and Agtanguay and to other individuals we may failed to mention, our deepest gratitude for your donation.

To the family of Sir Ecaran in Cavite where we were accommodated the day we arrived and before we depart, thank you mga Titas for the warm and cozy home, the sumptuous food that filled our stomach, may blessings pour more in your family.

To the Capiz BSP CAPIZ COUNCIL headed by Sir Warren Paredes our Council Scout Executive for the trust and opportunity given to us. We are truly grateful sir for this experience.

To the Banogs of Outfit 82 for your wishes and prayers that your Manongs and Manangs safety during our travels. This is for all of you.

To the parents and guardians of our delegates, thank you for doing your best in supporting your children. We know the challenge you faced but you never had a second thought of entrusting your child to our outfit and doing the best you can just for your child to experience this event.

To out dedicated Scout Leaders, Sir Jose P. Ecaran Jr. and Sir Wilden B. Espinolo, our tatays who cared for us for this enduring activity, thank you so much tatays for being our father, mother, brother and friend. We are indebted in you.

And lastly, this will never be possible without Him. Lord, thank you for pouring us with blessings we always prayed for. Our duty to You will always be in our hearts.

And with that, this is Outfit 82 Banogs, loud and proud to say, we've been in the 33rd Asia-Pacific Regional Scout Jamboree. See you next APR Thailand.
