MALONOY NHS SSLG ELECTION FOR S.Y 2024-2025 BEGINS

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government Election has started! You can be the next student leader. This is your time to help make changes. Remember, this is not about gaining popularity or clout, but about making real changes and serving your fellow students. Speak up and take action. Are you ready to lead?

The requirements were (1) Election Application Form (Encl. 6) (2) Introductory Profile (Encl. 7.1) (3) Certificate of Good Moral (4) Photocopy of School Form 9 (Learner's Progress Report Card)

The deadline of submission of all election application forms will be on April 22, 2024.

SSLG and FLP made a historic event through the Transformational Leadership Training (TLT).

Organized by the Borres Youth Leadership Institute, Inc., the TLT was simultaneously conducted as part of its historic partnership through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Department of Education - Division of Capiz and the Capiz State University - Future Leaders of the Philippines (FLP) Chapters in Dayao, Dumarao, Pilar, Poblacion Mambusao, Pontevedra, Sigma and Tapaz, Capiz.

A total of 44 Supreme Student Learner Government (SSLG) officers and 20 advisers in the 1st District and 61 SSLG officers and 26 advisers in the 2nd District attended the TLT while 97 officers and 8 advisers from the seven chapters of Capiz State University's Future Leaders of the Philippines (CapSU-FLP) joined the TLT.

The sessions in the TLT centered on the transformation of the inner values and character of students and youth leaders so that they can focus on their life’s purpose and mission, connect and interact with their fellow young leaders and eventually transform their respective communities.

The four Students' Sessions were facilitated by Atty. Mark Dela Borres and Mr. John B. Ituralde, Jr. as Resource Speakers while Ms. Kristine Joy D. Sauler, M.A.Ed, and Mr. Prince Joash Dacles, RPm, were the Resources Speakers for the two Teachers' Session.

BYLI is truly grateful for the kind support of the seven FLP Chapters and the overwhelming response of the SSLG officers and advisers in the Division of Capiz. Likewise, BYLI’s gratitude is extended to Pontevedra National High School throught its Principal Ms. Myrthyl L. Coching and the Municipal Government of Mambusao, Capiz through its Mayor, Hon. Luzviminda Labao for the TLT venue in the 1st and 2nd District, respectively.

Happy International Women’s Day! ! ♀️💜

The Department of Education is one with the world in celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women, especially this International Women’s Day.

This year’s celebration focuses on the theme “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress.” In a world facing multiple crises that are putting immense pressure on communities, achieving gender equality is more vital than ever. Ensuring women’s and girls’ rights across all aspects of life is the only way to secure prosperous and just economies and a healthy planet for future generations.

Today, we are also celebrating National Women’s Day in accordance with the Republic Act (RA) No. 6949 (1990).

Let us continue to raise awareness for accelerating women’s equality.
