📚 Strengthening Teachers, Advancing Learning: School-Based INSET 2026 l 9/10/26
Nagaparan Elementary School successfully conducted its School-Based In-Service Training (INSET) through meaningful sessions focused on strengthening teachers’ knowledge, skills, and practices.
The training formally opened with the singing of Lupang Hinirang, followed by a prayer, Cordillera Hymn (Hail Our Home)and an energizer to set a positive tone for the session.
Sir Danilo L. Baliling, Principal I, set the direction of the activity by discussing the Rationale and Statement of Purpose, alongside leading a session on Reflective Thinking to encourage teachers to evaluate their practices and identify ways to continuously improve.
Ma’am Gemma B. Engarcial, Master Teacher II, shared invaluable insights on Empowering Teachers in the ARAL Reading Program with a Focus on Social and Emotional Learning (SEL), as well as the implementation of the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) through strong leadership, effective collaboration, and continuous monitoring to ensure quality, inclusive, and flexible education - leaving the participants equipped with meaningful strategies for their classrooms.
The program also featured Sir Freddieson S. Bacaricas, ARAL Tutor, who shared valuable ARAL best practices and key takeaways to support reading development.
Following his talk, Ma’am Henedina A. Paingan, Teacher VI, tackled essential strategies on promoting literacy and numeracy, reinforcing effective classroom approaches.
To conclude the event, certificates of recognition and appreciation were awarded to the speakers and teacher participants to acknowledge their active engagement and dedication to professional growth.
