DTC EXTENDS PARTNERSHIP WITH LGU-DANAO IN REACHING LOCAL COMMUNITIES

Danao Technological College (DTC) has formally expressed its full support and cooperation with the Local Government Unit of Danao in advancing its social services advocacy through the “Balay sa Pagpakabana.”

The blessing and turnover ceremony of the project was held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, and was attended by Hon. Mayor Maria Celeste C. Lerion, RN, together with LGU officials; Dr. Arnel B. Quino, College President, along with key personnel of the institution; and SSG officers.

The partnership aims to strengthen community-based services and extend meaningful assistance to indigent families, women, children, senior citizens, and other individuals in need within the Municipality of Danao.

Hon. Mayor Maria Celeste C. Lerion, RN welcomed the partnership and expressed the LGU’s commitment to supporting DTC in reaching more families and strengthening initiatives that respond to the needs of the local community.

Through this partnership, Danao Technological College continues to strengthen its commitment to community engagement and public service—extending its mission beyond the campus and contributing to the well-being of the communities it serves.

Faculty members and staff of Danao Technological College (DTC) participated in the School-Based Professional Development Seminar-Workshop (SBPDS-W) held at the DTC Speech Laboratory on July 24, 2026.

Anchored on the theme "Inspire, Innovate, Impact," the seminar-workshop aimed to enhance the pedagogical skills, competencies, and professional growth of DTC educators in alignment with the principles of Outcomes-Based Education (OBE).

The LGU-Danao, headed by Hon. Mayor Maria Celeste C. Lerion, RN, through the support of Hon. Vice Mayor Joe G. Cepedoza, reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the institution's educational programs and initiatives.

Resource speakers and resource persons from the institution facilitated discussions on OBE principles, contextualization of syllabi, assessment strategies, and rubric development. The seminar also highlighted the roles, functions, and responsibilities of non-teaching personnel, providing participants with a deeper understanding of their vital contributions to the institution.

Participants actively engaged in hands-on workshops, collaborative group presentations, and output critiquing, fostering meaningful learning and professional collaboration.

This initiative reflects DTC's continuing commitment to promoting academic excellence, strengthening institutional performance, and empowering both teaching and non-teaching personnel to effectively fulfill their duties and responsibilities.

CBRC-Bohol Donates SMART TV for DTCians' Academic Enhancement

Carl Balita Review Center – Bohol (CBRC-Bohol) strengthened its partnership with Danao Technological College through the donation of a Smart TV, evident in a simple yet meaningful turnover ceremony held at the DTC President's Office on July 23, 2026.

The donated Smart TV will be used for DTCians' review classes, audio-visual presentations, and mock examinations. CBRC-Bohol believes that equipping schools with the right technology is key to producing competent and board-passing graduates. The Smart TV will help make DTC's review sessions more engaging and effective.

This initiative is part of DTC's continuing efforts to strengthen linkages with review centers and industry partners in maintaining the academic performance and board examination results of its students.

CBRC-Bohol has continuously supported board examination takers, and this commitment has been reflected in Danao Technological College's achievement of a 100% passing rate in the latest Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).

DTCIAN FOOD INNOVATORS SHINE AT LGU-DANAO LIVELIHOOD TRAINING 2026

Danao Technological College education students proved they’re more than future teachers , they’re food innovators too.

During the Livelihood Training Program 2026 on July 4,2026 at Danao New Gymnasium audienced by solo parents, and persons with disabilities DTC students revealed their expertise by transforming locally available raw materials into extraordinary and rare food products.

The teams demonstrated their processes, offered free taste tests, and displayed their finished products to the audience. Three DTC food creations stole the spotlight such as the Twisted Snail Cracker(TSC), the Coconut Sprout Ice Cream (CSIC), and the Squash-Based Longganisa (SBL). Hon. Mayor Maria Celeste C. Lerion RN personally extended her appreciation to the BTVTEd FSM Department headed by Dr. Nieva T. Bapilar and promised to support the innovative products.

The commendable performance proved one thing that DTCians have best to offer from classroom to kitchen innovative products.

DTC JAGUARS CAPTURE ATTENTION AT ALCU7 ICL BOHOL LEG 2026

Danao Technological College captured everyone’s attention as a promising contingent during the ALCU7 ICL Bohol Leg 2026 held at Buenavista Community College on June 22-25,2026.

Fellow participating teams were surprised because of the fighting spirit and expertise shown by the DTC “Jaguars” across every playing field. Despite being one of the newer institutions, DTC proved that heart, discipline, and teamwork worked.

Among the ten (10) participating Local Colleges in Bohol, DTC reaped the following awards:

-ALCU7 ICL Bohol Muse & Prince Titles
-2nd Runner-Up – Scrabble
-2nd Runner-Up – Mobile Legends
-3rd Runner-Up – Badminton Men’s Singles
-3rd Runner-Up – Table Tennis Women’s Singles
-2nd Runner-Up – Chess Board 2

The performance of the DTC team displayed readiness, true sportsmanship, and dedication. It’s not a matter of being a new institution, but the commitment of bringing honor and pride for the school. More than that, the team's participation of the Regional level featuring Dance Sports and the Mr. & Ms. ALCU7 ICL generalized their impressions that DTC has something great to offer in the following years.

These achievements would not be gained without the support of LGU Danao headed by Hon. Maria Celes Cepedoza-Lerion and Hon VM Jose G Cepedoza.

DTC Jaguars Roar with Glory at ALCU7 ICL Bohol Leg 2026 at Buenavista Community College

From the opening march to the final ceremonies, DTCians showed the world that the titles, medals, and recognitions earned placing Danao Technological College closer to the highest point in the field of sports significantly brought honor, lessons, and realizations true sports enthusiast. DTCians left the field not just as players, but as champions in their own way paving the next years to come.

The institution expressed its gratitude to the Local Government Unit of Danao through Hon. Mayor Maria Celes Cepedoza-Lerion, Hon. VM Jose G. Cepedoza, LGU Officials,and the untiring effort of the institution headed by Dr. Arnel Quino with the vibrant teaching and non teaching personnel.

DTCians Bag Sports Titles at ALCU7 ICL-Bohol Leg Ceremonial Night 2026

ARCHIE BETARMOS and Micaella Vios-Magallanes Logrosa of Danao Technological College brought pride to the Jaguars as they bagged the ALCU7 ICL Bohol Muse & Prince 2026 titles during the ceremonial night of the four-day long sports competition on June 22-25,2026 at Buenavista Community College.

Both contestants caught the eyes of the judges with their confidence and charm during the impromptu competition. This victory proved that DTCians truly shone their best not only in sports but also on stage.
