The recently concluded Eco Fashion Show at Estefa O. Monte Memorial National Highschool has proven that sustainability and style go hand in hand – and the event was nothing short of extraordinary! Every costume was a masterpiece of eco-conscious innovation: some pieces were meticulously crafted from upcycled clothing and household materials that would have otherwise ended up in landfills, while others featured locally-sourced natural fibers like abaca, piña, and cotton grown with sustainable farming practices. ‎In light of the recent surge in influenza cases within our locality, the health and safety of our students and staff remain our topmost priority. To ensure the continuity of learning while protecting every member of our school community, we are reinforcing our health protocols to mitigate the spread of the virus.

‎In reference to the official memorandum issued by the Department of Education – Schools Division Office of Danao City, all Estefanians are hereby informed of the strict implementation of preventive health and safety measures within the school premises due to the rising cases of influenza.

‎All learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and school visitors are strongly encouraged to wear face masks, practice proper respiratory etiquette, observe frequent handwashing or use of hand sanitizers, and ensure adequate ventilation in classrooms and offices. Regular cleaning and disinfection of frequently touched surfaces shall also be continuously implemented.

‎Learners and personnel experiencing flu-like symptoms are advised to stay at home, rest, and seek medical consultation when necessary. Absences due to illness shall be considered excusable, subject to existing DepEd policies.

It’s a reminder that taking care of our environment is super important for our future and our country's progress.

‎Living in the Philippines, we've all seen how crazy typhoons 🌪️, floods 💧, and landslides 🌄 can be. That’s why we need to step up and protect our home.
