This study focuses on a community extension program to support persons deprived of liberty (PDL) in the Philippines through educational, livelihood, and rehabilitation initiatives. It emphasizes how such programs foster personal development, social reintegration, and empowerment, helping PDLs build productive lives after incarceration.

This study investigates the impact of using an improvised molecular kit as a teaching aid in organic chemistry on students’ academic performance. Results show that the use of the kit enhances students’ understanding of molecular structures and reactions, leading to improved engagement and higher achievement in the subject.

This study explores the relationship between students' use of surface and deep learning strategies and their academic performance in science. It highlights that students who employ deep learning approaches characterized by critical thinking and conceptual understanding tend to achieve higher academic outcomes than those who rely on rote memorization or surface learning.

𝗠𝗶𝗱𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗺 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟵, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱

Cebu Technological University-Danao Campus moves the conduct of the Midterm Examinations for the First Semester of Academic Year 2025-2026 to Wednesday, October 29, 2025, instead of the originally scheduled October 28. The exams will run through Tuesday, November 4, excluding Friday, October 31, in observance of the holiday.

The revision of the examination schedule was due to the pending receipt of an official directive from the Mayor’s Office regarding the authorization of face-to-face examinations, which was anticipated today. The office will keep faculty and students updated once the confirmation is received. Students who have already departed for the All-Saints’ Day and All Souls' Day observances can still take their exams on a schedule arranged with their respective college instructors.

To ensure proper administration, two colleges will be scheduled per day. On October 29 (Wednesday) and November 3 (Monday), the College of Technology (COT) and the College of Education, Arts and Sciences (CEAS) will hold their exams. Meanwhile, on October 30 (Thursday) and November 4 (Tuesday), the College of Engineering (COE) and the College of Management and Entrepreneurship (CME) will conduct theirs.

Faculty members are expected to coordinate closely with their respective College Deans to ensure the smooth conduct of examinations and adherence to university policies. Students are also urged to maintain close communication with their instructors to help make sure they have the proper exam arrangements.

The administration extends its appreciation to all stakeholders for their support and cooperation.
