Creating a safe and respectful school community takes more than awarenessโit takes people who are willing to notice, listen, understand, and act.

The session provided our teachers with an opportunity to deepen their understanding of bullying, recognize warning signs, distinguish bullying from other learner conflicts, and strengthen their confidence in responding to concerns with care, consistency, and appropriate action.
More than learning what to do, the session was a reminder of the important role teachers play in a learnerโs life. Sometimes, a teacher is the first person to notice a change, hear a quiet concern, or make a student feel that someone is willing to stand beside them.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to our resource speaker, ๐๐ก๐ซ๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ง๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฌ๐๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ก๐๐ฏ๐๐ณ, ๐๐๐, ๐๐๐, for sharing her expertise, insights, and compassion with our teachers.
To our teachers, thank you for being more than educators. Thank you for being listeners, guides, advocates, and safe adults in the lives of our learners.
May we continue to build a school community where every concern is taken seriously, every learner is treated with dignity, and every member of the community has the courage to choose kindness.
Because when teachers are empowered to care and respond, learners are empowered to feel safe.
