A resounding round of applause for Crisel Mae Alicabo, our very own SSLG Vice-President! She has achieved an outstanding 5th place in Editorial Writing at the Regional Schools Press Conference 2026 – a testament to her talent, perseverance, and commitment to excellence in journalism.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Mrs. Karen Joyce Capuno – our coach and SSLG adviser – for your unwavering support, guidance, and for seeing the immense potential in Crisel. We also thank all our dedicated teachers for their encouragement, our fellow students for cheering her on, and Crisel’s supportive parents for their love, sacrifice, and constant belief in her abilities. Most especially, we recognize and appreciate our school head Mrs. Jessica M Loro for being the guiding light and for always believing in what we can accomplish together. Valentine's Day is a celebration of all kinds of love, not just romantic! This year, we wanted to show our immense appreciation for the guiding lights of QIS – our wonderful teachers. With a special serenade and tokens of our gratitude, we hope they feel every bit of the love and respect we have for them, on behalf of all QIS students. 𝑯𝒂𝒑𝒑𝒚 𝑽𝒂𝒍𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒆’𝒔 𝑫𝒂𝒚! 💕💕💕

𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝘅 𝗦𝗮𝘆𝗼 𝗬𝗮𝗿𝗻

We spin, we❔. That's it, they spin and doesn't know whether it's a reward or consequence. They gather to witness the possible outcomes, yet they failed. Some get jailed, some are dating, some get flour on their faces or might get sweets.

On the other side, student's bought a colorful 12 inch yarn and use it to express their feelings onto someone. It really reminds us to be thankful and appreciative, because someone still truly knows and values us.

𝗟𝗢𝗩𝗘 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗹 𝗟𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗹

A versatile activity, whether it is an appreciation, confession, or something that involves love, this activity is best suit for it. Looking back to the student's who participated is really commendable, we see the courage inside them, not double thinking since they know it is a time of expressing love.

Special thanks to the SSLG officers who facilitated. And to teachers, students who supported and made the event a possible.
