📚🗳️ 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐎𝐓𝐀 | 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧 𝐊𝐨: 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲, 𝐀 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐕𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐔𝐩𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐞

Knowing our rights also means understanding the responsibility that comes with the right to vote. Entitled “𝙆𝙖𝙧𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙣 𝙆𝙤: 𝘿𝙀𝙈𝙊𝘾𝙍𝘼𝘾𝙔, 𝘼 𝙋𝙊𝙒𝙀𝙍 𝙑𝙀𝙎𝙏𝙀𝘿 𝙐𝙋𝙊𝙉 𝙈𝙀,” the seminar, which was spearheaded by the 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲 – College of Liberal Arts, was successfully conducted on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, at the Multi-Purpose Hall, University of Luzon.

The event served as a meaningful reminder that voting is more than simply casting a ballot. From understanding the importance of being a registered and responsible voter, to learning how to choose leaders who are worthy of public trust, the discussions gave students a closer look at how every vote can help shape our communities. Guest speakers 𝗔𝘁𝘁𝘆. 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗲𝗹 𝗗. 𝗦𝗶𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗻 and 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗖. 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝘀 shared their knowledge and experiences on responsible voting and participation in democratic processes.

The discussion supports citizenship education by helping students become more informed and responsible voters. It also contributes to SDG 4: Quality Education through meaningful learning, while SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions is supported through public participation, transparency, and responsible civic engagement.

🌟 𝐔𝐋 𝐀𝐥𝐮𝐦𝐧𝐢 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭: 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐲 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐆𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬, 𝐂𝐏𝐀 🌟

The University of Luzon proudly celebrates the achievements of 𝗔𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗮𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗖𝗣𝗔, a distinguished alumnus of the BS Accountancy program and a 𝗖𝘂𝗺 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲 graduate of the then Luzon Colleges.

Anthony brought honor to UL when he placed 𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟵𝟵𝟵 𝗖𝗣𝗔 𝗟𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, earning an impressive general average of 91.43. This remarkable achievement became the foundation of a successful career in finance, accounting, audit, and business advisory.

Today, he serves as 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝘁 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺, 𝗜𝗻𝗰., leading with excellence and drawing from more than 26 years of professional experience. Throughout his career, he has received prestigious recognitions, including Globe Telecom’s Leadership Excellence Award and Employee of the Year Award.

From a top-performing UL student to a respected corporate leader, Anthony’s journey is a testament to the power of hard work, integrity, and the quality education provided by the University of Luzon.

Congratulations to 𝗠𝘀. 𝗞𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼 and 𝗗𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗮𝗻 𝗛. 𝗟𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗼 for representing the University of Luzon in the field of nursing research and education.

Ms. Aquino delivered an oral presentation at the 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗻 𝗡𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵, 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 (𝗜𝗙𝗡𝗘-𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲), held virtually on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟭, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Her study, 𝙁𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝘾𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙘𝙠 𝙩𝙤 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙚𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡-𝙀𝙢𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙘 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚: 𝘼 𝙌𝙪𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝘼𝙣𝙖𝙡𝙮𝙨𝙞𝙨 𝙤𝙛 𝙉𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨’ 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝘿𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘿𝙚𝙘𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙚𝙙 𝙋𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨, co-authored with 𝗠𝗿. 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝘄𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗯𝗮 𝗝𝗿. and 𝗠𝘀. 𝗝𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗴, examines nursing students’ experiences with dying and deceased patients and their development of empathy and resilience.

The University of Luzon also recognizes Dean Llego for serving as a 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 of IFNE-2026, contributing his expertise to the forum.

These efforts also contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. SDG 3: Good Health and Well-Being supports work that strengthens health knowledge and nursing practice. SDG 4: Quality Education is reflected through education and research that deepen professional learning.

The University of Luzon encourages CBAHTM students to get ready for a week of engaging activities and competitions from 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟮𝟮–𝟮𝟱, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

Various activities have been prepared to provide students with opportunities for learning, participation, and the development of skills beyond the classroom.

CBAHTM students are encouraged to check the official schedule, prepare for the activities, and take part in the celebration.

Student participation in co-curricular activities supports holistic education and meaningful engagement. The activities support SDG 4: Quality Education by encouraging learning beyond the classroom; and SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions through the spirit of cooperation and responsible engagement.

🎓🤖 Students from the 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝘂𝘇𝗼𝗻 - 𝗖𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 successfully completed the 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙧𝙤𝙙𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝘼𝙄 𝙇𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙐𝙨𝙚 micro-credentialing course by Mapúa University on 𝗦𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟰, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.

The course was part of the primary services of 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗴 𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗼 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, in partnership with the 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗗𝗥𝗢𝟭. Through the 𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗿𝗼-𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻, CLA students gained valuable knowledge and skills beyond the traditional classroom, supporting their preparation for the evolving professional landscape.

Expanding access to flexible and relevant education supports lifelong learning. It contributes to SDG 4: Quality Education by providing accessible and industry-relevant learning opportunities. It supports SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by strengthening students’ employability and workplace-ready competencies. It also advances SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through collaboration that expands opportunities for students.
