November 13 of each year has been declared a 'Special Public Holiday' in the province of Pangasinan since 1989 by virtue of Republic Act 6721 in order to commemorate the birth anniversary of the late Speaker Eugenio Perez. Work and Classes for all levels will resume on November 14, 2019.

Success Ladder 2019 24/07/2019

College of Management and Accountancy with their recently concluded success ladder.

The College of Management and Accountancy held its Annual Success Ladder at the University Gymnasium last July 17, 2019. Students from second year to fourth year together with the Faculty members attended the said event.

On the first part of the program, a video presentation of some of the successful graduates of the college which students are amazed and see on the possible work they are aligned to. Also, a welcome address is delivered by Ma'am Emily L. Garcia, Assistant COO, Sir Adele S. Traspe, CSDL Director and our very own College Dean, Dr. Teofila S. Albay, CPA through an audio visual presentation.

Moreover, the event focused on the success of every CMA students. Recognition and certificates were given to those who excel in their respective fields(TESDA Passers, Civil Service Passers, Internship Qualifier, Sports Champion and Regional Quiz Bee Runner Up). Ma'am Jenalyn D. Nabua, CPA, State Auditor I, COA Region 1, as the Resource Speaker gave an inspirational message that focuses on the acronym CHAMPION. The crowd was attentive and engage on the talk.

The event ended with the recognition of the different year levels having their pins, ties, scarves, nameplate and toques. Sir Kim Mark F. Biason, CPA, LLB, BSBA Program Head, officially closes the event.

With reference to the Resolution 07-04-2019, the Supreme Student Council duly appointed new set of SSC officers to complete the roster of Legislative Council for the Academic Year 2019- 2020.

June 25, 2019 - The College of Management and Accountancy (CMA) conducted the annual CMA General Assembly with the theme: " Competence, Integrity, Empowerment" at the University Gymnasium.

The said event serves as an official welcome for the students of the college especially the 2nd years. It was participated by the Faculty members and the different Registered Student Organizations (RSO) with Mr. Rommel M. Agacita, the Area Manager of Chinabank Region 1 and Cordillera Administrative Region as the guest speaker who gave an inspirational message. Afterwards, the different uniforms of the college was presented. The program was ended with a community dance.

Furthermore, the different RSO conducted their own general assembly to formally welcome the students in their organization and discuss the breakdown of their membership fee and the presentation of their calendar of events.

Kalutan ed UPang marks the culmination of the First Week Hi Celebration. Remarkably, thousandths of students participated on the first ever University-wide welcoming party inspired by the Kalutan ed Dalan.

PHINMA UPang Students together with their respective deans from different colleges, principal of HighSchool Department, and faculty members, merged as one; instilling a strong sense of community.
