Monitoring of Classes During Instructional Block
School Heads, Maricris P. Ferrer, Principal IV, and Marilou G. Taminaya, Head Teacher II, conducted classroom monitoring at Sabangan Elementary School to ensure the effective utilization of instructional time and the quality delivery of teaching and learning processes.
The monitoring focused on:
✍️Ensuring that classes commence and conclude on time and that instructional time is maximized.
✍️Observing learner engagement and participation in classroom activities.
✍️Monitoring the implementation of lesson plans and alignment of learning activities with intended objectives.
✍️Assessing classroom management practices and the creation of a conducive learning environment.
✍️Evaluating the use of appropriate teaching strategies, instructional materials, and formative assessment practices.
✍️Providing instructional support and feedback to teachers to enhance teaching effectiveness and improve learner outcomes.
This classroom monitoring activity demonstrates the school's commitment to maximizing instructional time, strengthening instructional supervision, and promoting quality, learner-centered education for all pupils.

Sabangan Elementary School joins the nation in the observance of the 2026 National Flag Days from May 28 to June 12, 2026, in accordance with Presidential Proclamation No. 374 and Executive Order No. 179.

FIRST DAY OF CLASSES | June 8, 2026
Sabangan Elementary School warmly welcomed learners as School Year 2026–2027 officially began today!
The school's opening was closely monitored by the Division Monitoring Team headed by Ma'am Gillian Casaclang, ensuring a smooth and orderly start of classes.
Through the leadership of Ma'am Maricris P. Ferrer, Principal IV, and the guidance of Ma'am Marilou G. Taminaya, Head Teacher II, all preparations were carefully undertaken to provide a safe, organized, and learner-friendly environment for our pupils.
As we embark on another year of learning, growth, and success, we thank our teachers, parents, stakeholders, and learners for their unwavering support and cooperation.

𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗧 𝟱 𝗟𝗔𝗖 𝗦𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
District 5 educators gathered at North Central Elementary School on June 4, 2026, for a meaningful Learning Action Cell (LAC) Session centered on Learning Systems Reforming Policies for Teachers. The activity brought together teachers from Sabangan Elementary School, North Central Elementary School, and General Gregorio Del Pilar Elementary School in a shared pursuit of professional growth and educational excellence.
The session was enriched by the expertise and valuable insights of the resource speakers: Mr. Jeffrey Ceralde, Master Teacher III of General Gregorio Del Pilar Elementary School; Mr. John Aquino, Master Teacher II of North Central Elementary School; and Mrs. Maricris P. Ferrer, Principal IV of Sabangan Elementary School. Their discussions provided participants with a deeper understanding of current educational reforms, policies, and strategies that support effective teaching and improved learning outcomes.
Through collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and reflective dialogue, participants strengthened their commitment to continuous learning and to fostering quality, inclusive, and responsive education for all learners.
