Please be informed that face-to-face classes will continue tomorrow, September 7, 2026, and the Term 1 Examination will proceed as scheduled.

This decision was reached after considering the teachers’ poll, updates gathered through the class GCs, and upon consultation with and recommendation of our PTA President, Ma’am Maria Francesca V. Intacto, and SGC Elected Chairperson, Sir Ramil V. Soy.

Based on the reports and consultations, most areas within the Sabangan community are not flooded, and roads and streets are generally accessible for our learners to safely come to school.

📚 TERM 1 EXAMINATION SCHEDULE
September 7–8, 2026

Learners who are unable to report to school due to flooding, unsafe road conditions, or other weather-related safety concerns will be given due consideration and may take their missed examination on the next available school day.

As we conclude Term 1 this week, we aim to complete the scheduled assessments in preparation for the start of Term 2 on September 16, 2026.

The school remains committed to the safety and well-being of all learners and personnel. Parents and guardians are encouraged to assess the actual conditions in their respective areas and exercise sound judgment regarding their children’s safety.

Everyone is reminded to take all necessary precautions—bring umbrellas or raincoats, avoid flooded areas, and use only safe and accessible routes.

Good morning po!

In view of the localized suspension of face-to-face classes due to the Habagat and heavy rains forecasted today, Sabangan Elementary School will shift to Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM).

Teachers are advised to provide modules, LAS, and appropriate home-learning activities and monitor learners through available communication platforms.

Teachers shall report to school as scheduled and are reminded to observe necessary safety precautions.

Parents and learners, please stay at home, avoid flooded areas and unnecessary travel, and prioritize safety at all times.

Promoting Safety and Preparedness at Sabangan Elementary School

Sabangan Elementary School conducted an Orientation on School Active Shooting Incidents on August 27, 2026, to strengthen awareness, preparedness, and safety among teachers.

The activity was facilitated by Pat Jerald L Sampaga
and Pat Mark Angelo Madiam from Police Station 6, under the supervision of PCPT. Nicodemus R. Cabais, OIC Station Commander, and under the direction of PCOL Arnold P. Solomon I, City Director of the Dagupan City Police Office.

The orientation was conducted under the leadership of Ma’am Maricris P. Ferrer, Principal IV, together with Ma’am Marilou G. Taminaya, Head Teacher II, Mr. Albert Bautista, and Mr. Ruel A. Catcatan, DRRM Coordinator, with the active participation of the Sabangan Elementary School teachers.

Together, we build a safer, more prepared, and resilient school community.

A new chapter of partnership and service begins as our newly elected School Parents-Teachers Association (PTA) Officers officially took their oath of office during the School PTA Induction Program held on July 29, 2026.

The induction ceremony was graciously led by Bryan “BK” Kua, City Vice Mayor, who inspired the officers to serve with integrity, commitment, and genuine concern for the welfare of every learner and the entire school community.

In a meaningful display of community partnership and support for education, the RIMC-Multi Purpose Cooperative, headed by Mr. Randy Relosa, OIC General Manager, extended its generosity to Sabangan Elementary School through the donation of 100 packs of school supplies for 100 Grade 1
learners and two (2) Asahi electric fans.
The turnover ceremony was warmly received by Maricris P. Ferrer, Principal IV, and Marilou G. Taminaya, Head Teacher II, together with members of the school personnel. The donated school supplies will greatly assist the Grade 1 learners by providing them with essential learning materials that will support their academic journey and encourage active participation in classroom activities. Meanwhile, the electric fans will contribute to creating a more comfortable and conducive learning environment for both learners and teachers.

Sabangan Elementary School sincerely expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the RIMC-Multi Purpose Cooperative and Mr. Randy Repost for their kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to supporting education. REGIONAL MONITORING VISIT | OPENING OF CLASSES 2026

Sabangan Elementary School warmly welcomed the Regional Monitoring Team during their visit on June 19, 2026, to observe and assess the smooth implementation of the opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027.

The monitoring activity highlighted the school's readiness, effective classroom management, and commitment to providing a safe, inclusive, and learner-centered environment for all pupils. The visit also served as an opportunity to recognize the dedication and hard work of our teaching and non-teaching personnel in ensuring a successful start of the academic year.
