Our school recently hosted a memorable double feature – the Festival of Words and Christmas Program – that brought together creativity, purpose, and joy.
Anchored on the theme "Transcending Words to Build an Inclusive Global Society," the Festival of Words saw students express their vision of a united world through powerful literary pieces, soul-stirring songs, and vibrant art crafts. Each work served as a bridge, connecting diverse perspectives and reminding us that understanding goes beyond language alone.
Right on its heels, the Christmas Program unfolded as a simple yet heartfelt gathering. Filled with warm performances and shared laughter, the celebration culminated in a beautiful nativity scene – a timeless reminder of hope, love, and the universal spirit of community that ties us all together.

A Heartfelt Gathering: Mother Goose Special School System’s Traditional Thanksgiving Mass
The air was filled with warmth and gratitude as Mother Goose Special School System Inc. gathered for its annual Traditional Thanksgiving Mass, a cherished event that brings together the entire school community in celebration of blessings and unity. Officiated by Father Christopher Quimo , the Mass served as a beautiful reminder of the school’s core values of faith, compassion, and shared purpose.
Teachers and staff from all branches of the Mother Goose system traveled to the main campus to participate, their colorful attires adding vibrancy to the sacred space. As Father Quimo led the congregation in prayers and reflections, he emphasized the importance of giving thanks not only for material gifts but also for the relationships that shape our lives — from the students we nurture to the colleagues who stand by us every day.
After the service, teachers and staff gathered for a simple reception, sharing stories, laughter, and traditional dishes. The atmosphere was one of genuine camaraderie, as colleagues who often work in separate branches took the time to connect and strengthen the bonds that make the Mother Goose community so special.
For Mother Goose pupils, the Christmas spirit is not just about giving, receiving or singing Christmas carols; rather, it is a celebration to tap into their imaginations and use the magic of their little hands.
There is joy in their eyes as they cut, glue, paint, and assemble their Christmas ornaments together. As they engage in such an activity, they feel a strong sense of connection and belonging, and it develops in them the values of unity, patience, and compassion.
Indeed, the true spirit of Christmas is when they live out these values as they go through life.

Bronze Victory for Our Tiny Titan: Tan Tan
Meet Tan Tan — proof that great things really do come in small packages. At the recent taekwondo meet, this talented student stepped onto the mat with unwavering focus and fierce determination, emerging as a bronze medalist.
Despite his compact frame, Tan Tan’s skills speak volumes: his sharp kicks, quick footwork, and strategic moves left judges and opponents alike impressed. His win is a testament to countless hours of practice, grit, and a passion that far outweighs his size.
We’re so proud to call him one of our own — a true champion who shows us that strength isn’t measured in inches, but in heart.
