: TOMORROW’S CLASSROOMS ARE GOING ONLINE🌧️

Face-to-face classes in all public and private schools in Dagupan City are suspended tomorrow, August 6, 2026, under Executive Order No. 42, Series of 2026, signed by Acting City Mayor Dean Bryan L. Kua.

The suspension covers ALL LEVELS, from daycare to college, due to the continuing effects of Tropical Storm Maymay and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), which continue to pose flooding risks in the city.

Schools are encouraged to implement online classes or other alternative learning modalities, in accordance with the guidelines of DepEd, CHED, and other concerned authorities.

NO F2F ULIT BUKAS, AUGUST 5! 🌧️

Pursuant to Executive Order No. 41, Series of 2026, Acting City Mayor Dean Bryan L. Kua has suspended face-to-face classes in all levels, both public and private schools, in Dagupan City on Wednesday, August 5, 2026.

The suspension is due to the continuing threat of flooding caused by the rising water level of the Sinocalan River and the persistent effects of the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) enhanced by two Low Pressure Areas (LPAs).

Affected schools are directed to implement online classes or other appropriate alternative learning modalities, whenever feasible, to ensure the continuity of learning.

: CLASSES & GOVERNMENT WORK SUSPENDED TOMORROW

In view of the Red Rainfall Warning issued by PAGASA and the continuing heavy rains brought by the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) due to Tropical Depression Luis, Acting City Mayor Dean Bryan L. Kua has issued Executive Order No. 40.

Effective tomorrow, Tuesday, August 4, 2026, classes at all levels, both public and private, and work in all government offices and agencies within Dagupan City are suspended.

Face-to-face classes shall shift to online learning or other appropriate alternative learning modalities where feasible and practicable, subject to the policies of the Department of Education, the Commission on Higher Education, and the respective school authorities.

Government offices providing essential services, including emergency response, disaster management, health, peace and order, and other indispensable public services, shall continue operations.

Private offices and establishments are not covered by the mandatory work suspension. Employers are encouraged to make appropriate work arrangements with due consideration for the safety and welfare of their employees.

Everyone is advised to remain vigilant, monitor official advisories, and prioritize safety.

Mayor Belen T. Fernandez has ordered the suspension of face-to-face classes in all levels, both public and private educational institutions in Dagupan City, on Monday, August 3, 2026, due to the expected heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) enhanced by Tropical Depression Luis.

Schools are encouraged to implement online or other appropriate alternative learning modalities, where feasible. Residents are advised to monitor official weather advisories and prioritize safety.
