The Region 1 Medical Center Department of ORL-HNS, in collaboration with GAD, successfully concluded ENT Consciousness Week 2025.
The event showcased a series of insightful ENTalks for frontliners, highlighting essential topics on the ears, nose, throat, and head & neck masses. Aside from R1MC employees, we were grateful to have our clerks, interns, and Barangay Health Workers (BHWs) actively participating and engaging throughout the program.

The Region 1 Medical Center through the Occupational and Patient Safety and Health Management Office (OPSHMO), successfully conducted the 23rd Batch Orientation Seminar on Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) on November 25, 2025, at the FQD Conference Hall.

This activity is part of R1MC’s continuous effort to promote a safe and healthy working environment by educating healthcare workers on the principles and practices of occupational safety. The seminar aimed to raise awareness, enhance hazard recognition, and strengthen the institution’s commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
The seminar highlighted the institution’s dedication to creating a culture of safety and well-being for both employees and patients.

Kudos to the 𝐃𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐎𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐬 for their outstanding contribution to the Medical Teaching Conference! 👏

Today’s Medical Teaching Conference concluded successfully with an enlightening 𝗣𝗵𝘆𝘀𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 & 𝗥𝗲𝗵𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗼𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 delivered by 𝗗𝗿. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗮𝘂𝘅 𝗥𝗮𝘆𝗼𝘀. We extend our sincere appreciation for her valuable insights and expertise.

Following the session, a Quiz Bee competition was held to reinforce learning. We congratulate Team A for securing 1st place, Team E for achieving 2nd place, and Team F for earning 3rd place.

The two-day Training Programme on Administrative Procedures was successfully conducted on 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟔–𝟕, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓, with 𝘼𝙩𝙩𝙮. 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙢𝙖 𝙈. 𝘼𝙜𝙗𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙞 serving as the Resource Speaker.

The activity covered essential topics including Procedures in Disciplinary and Non-Disciplinary Cases, Administrative Offenses and Penalties (Decided Cases), and a Workshop on post-training activities, which included evaluation and the closing program.

The seminar provided participants with a comprehensive understanding of the processes and remedies involved in administrative cases, thereby enhancing their capability to effectively perform their respective functions.

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) successfully conducted the 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞𝐬 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 with 𝐌𝐬. 𝐁𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐑𝐚𝐲𝐚 𝐃𝐮𝐦𝐚𝐨𝐚𝐧𝐠 as the resource speaker.

Through her inspiring session, Ms. Dumaoang emphasized the core values of Patriotism, Integrity, Excellence, and Spirituality, reminding participants of their vital role in fostering ethical and compassionate governance.

The activity served as a meaningful reminder that public service is not just a duty, but a calling to serve with integrity, dedication, and love for the Filipino people. 🇵🇭
