As the Salindaya Federation of the NFJPIA – Region 1 & CAR officially concludes, the KINGFISHER SCHOOL OF BUSINESS AND FINANCE – JPIA once again shines among the federation's brightest stars, bringing home the CELESTIAL CROWN OF GLORY LOCAL CHAPTER CATEGORY (MOST AWARDED LOCAL CHAPTER) and the CELESTIAL CROWN OF GLORY IN ACADEMICS (MOST AWARDED LOCAL CHAPTER IN ACADEMICS) during the Year-End Awards 2026, held on July 18, 2026, at the Philippine College of Science and Technology, Calasiao, Pangasinan, under the theme “Constellations: Mapping a Year of Excellence.”

🏆📚 KINGFISHER'S QUIZ BOWL DYNASTY CONTINUES AT AWC 2026! 💙💛

The winning tradition lives on as the Kingfisher School of Business and Finance once again proved its academic prowess during the Accounting Quiz Bowl of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants – Pangasinan Chapter, held on July 16, 2026, at Urdaneta City University as part of the Accountancy Week Celebration 2026 (AWC 2026), carrying the theme "EMPOWER: Elevating the Filipino CPA Towards Ethical Leadership and Global Excellence."

Leading the charge was TEAM B: PRINZE JEI-AR D. DOMAGAS, MA. CHRISTINA U. VALENCIA, and FIDEL RODNEY Q. FERNANDEZ, who emerged as the PROVINCIAL CHAMPION, while TEAM A, composed of JUSTIN LOUISSE E. LOPEZ, REY CARLO R. CABURNAY, and PSALM RESPICIO, secured the 2ND RUNNER-UP finish. Together, the two teams showcased exceptional mastery across the breadth of accountancy, proving that Kingfisher continues to produce students ready to excel under pressure and compete with the very best.

This achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering guidance of Ma’am CHRISTIA LOREY MAE G. REYES, CPA and Ma'am KRISHA MAE E. 🏆 KINGFISHER RULES THE TAX ARENA, CLAIMS THE TOP NATIONAL HONORS 💼

Kingfisher School of Business and Finance once again stamped its mark on the national stage as TYRON JONES T. ACUÑA emerged as the NATIONAL CHAMPION, while LAWRENCE DAVE E. MACARAEG secured 1ST RUNNER-UP in The Search for the EMMC Tax Whiz Season 19, organized by the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants – Eastern Metro Manila Chapter (PICPA – EMMC). The competition was held on July 15, 2026, at the Virata School of Business, University of the Philippines Diliman, as part of the Accountancy Week Celebration 2026 (AWC 2026), carrying the theme "EMPOWER: Elevating the Filipino CPA Towards Ethical Leadership and Global Excellence."

Adding to this remarkable feat, RAZILEE P. DE VERA and JHUCEL M. GULEN also advanced as FINALISTS, further strengthening Kingfisher's presence among the nation's brightest accounting students. Truth prevailed on the national stage as PROJECT VERITAS, composed of FIDEL RODNEY Q. FERNANDEZ, JUSTIN LOUISSE E. LOPEZ, KYLE S. MANUEL, and ANGELIKA E. YANEZA, secured 1st Runner-Up in the Cipher Lens: Forensic Auditing Case Study during the 43rd Annual National Convention of the National Federation of Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (NFJPIA), held virtually from June 12 to 14, 2026, under the theme "NEONEXUS: Legacy of the Luminous City." 🌆💡

Tasked with unraveling a complex forensic auditing case, the team pieced together evidence, challenged assumptions, and transformed financial clues into compelling conclusions. 🏆📚 KINGFISHERS SECURE MULTIPLE TOP RANKINGS IN THE GRAND JPIA CUP 📚🏆🏆

PSALM RESPICIO (1ST RUNNER-UP), REY CARLO R. CABURNAY (2ND RUNNER-UP), and PRINZE JEI-AR D. DOMAGAS (3RD RUNNER-UP) delivered a stellar performance for the Kingfisher School of Business and Finance in The Grand JPIA Cup, securing three consecutive awards during the 16th Annual Regional Convention hosted by the NFJPIA – Region 1 and Cordilleras.

Held virtually on June 5–7, 2026, under the theme "Aeternum Volatus: Legacy of the Eternal Wings," the competition challenged participants across all CPALE subjects, making it one of the convention's most comprehensive academic events.

Competing against some of the brightest accountancy students in Region 1 and the Cordilleras, the Kingfisher trio showcased exceptional mastery, consistency, and composure across the board. Their performance not only earned them places on the podium but also highlighted Kingfisher's continued strength in producing well-rounded future CPAs.

In a contest where every board subject mattered, Kingfishers once again proved that excellence is not confined to one field—it spans the entire accounting spectrum. 💙💛
