Alinsunod sa Proklamasyon Blg. 1041, na nilagdaan noong Hulyo 15, 1997, na nagtatadhana ng taunang pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa tuwing buwan ng Agosto, buong pagmamalaking nakikiisa ang Judge Jose De Venecia Sr., Technical Vocational Secondary School sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026 na may temang: “𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐚𝐭 𝐀𝐈: 𝐊𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐤𝐬𝐢𝐤 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐚 𝐘𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧.”

Binibigyang-diin ng temang ito ang mahalagang papel ng Wikang Filipino bilang daluyan ng kaalaman, pananaliksik, at pambansang pagkakaisa sa panahon ng mabilis na pag-unlad ng teknolohiya. Kasabay nito, kinikilala ang 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 (𝐀𝐈) bilang makabagong kasangkapan na kung gagamitin nang responsable at may integridad ay makatutulong sa pagpapalawak ng akses sa impormasyon at pagpapaunlad ng kalidad ng edukasyon nang hindi isinasantabi ang pagpapahalaga sa ating sariling wika, kultura, at pagkakakilanlan bilang mga Pilipino.

Kaugnay nito, hinihikayat ang buong komunidad ng Judge Jose De Venecia Sr., Technical-Vocational Secondary School na aktibong makiisa sa mga gawaing inihanda para sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa. Nawa'y magsilbi itong pagkakataon upang higit pang mapaigting ang pagmamahal sa ating wikang pambansa at maipamalas ang makabuluhang paggamit ng teknolohiya sa paglinang ng kaalaman at paghubog ng responsableng mamamayan.

𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒 || 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝟰-𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗘𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗼𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀

𝐃𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐏𝐀𝐍 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘—Free healthcare reached hundreds of local families as the four-day medical mission held its final day at Judge Jose De Venecia Sr. Technical-Vocational Secondary School in Barangay Bolosan on July 20, 2026.

The initiative, led by Senator Risa Hontiveros alongside local government units (LGUs) and barangay officials, was designed to bring hospital-level medical services directly into local neighborhoods. By converting public school campus grounds into temporary clinics, organizers aimed to eliminate medical expenses and travel hassles residents across Dagupan City.

Before reaching Bolosan, the rolling venue brought free care to three other local community hubs:

𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐨 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐮𝐬

During the event, the high school campus was transformed into a full-service field health center. Patients underwent basic checkups first, where volunteers measured vital signs including blood pressure, body temperature, breathing rate, weight, height, and oxygen levels.

The site also provided free laboratory blood tests (covering cholesterol, blood sugar, uric acid, and hemoglobin) and electrocardiograms (ECG) to monitor heart health. Expectant mothers who were 5 to 9 months pregnant received free fetal Doppler checks to listen to their unborn babies' heartbeats.

Following their lab tests, patients sat down for one-on-one consultations with licensed doctors. On-site staff instantly printed consultation summaries and filled prescriptions, handing out free medicines to those in need.

The smooth operation of the event relied on the united effort of healthcare workers, local officials, and volunteers from Senator Hontiveros's office and the LGU.

"The goal is to provide treatment to people who canot afford or access regular medical care." said Ishrah Kamille Cruz, team leader of the medical outreach.

By bringing free diagnostics and free medicines directly to Barangay Bolosan, the program gave vulnerable Dagupeños timely medical support and hope for better health without the heavy financial stress.

NCAA North Roar! Lady Wildcats Show Unwavering Grit in 46–71 Defeat to Pink Panthers

JJDVSTVSS Lady Wildcats fell short against Montreal Pink Panthers, 46–71, in the Finals of the NCAA North Under-16 Friendship Games Girls Division on Sunday, July 5, at DCNHS Angara Gymnasium.

Lady Wildcats answered Panthers' strong opening with fierce defense and relentless effort, narrowing the lead despite the Panthers' well-executed offense. Both teams exchanged baskets with resilience, determination, and sportsmanship, keeping the game competitive in the first half.

Lady Wildcats refused to back down in the second half, executing disciplined plays and defensive stops despite Panthers' steady offensive rhythm. Although Panthers gradually extended their lead, Lady Wildcats remained poised and fought with pure grit until the final minutes.

After the final buzzer, players from both teams exchanged handshakes, congratulated one another, and expressed gratitude for a competitive and meaningful championship game.

Lady Wildcats finished as the 1st runners-up, gaining valuable experience from their championship appearance, with most of their roster composed of young and first-time players. Meanwhile, Pink Panthers celebrated their well-earned conquest, after capturing the championship trophy.

🚨 JUST IN | Safety in Action!

Preparedness saves lives.

Judge Jose De Venecia Sr. Technical-Vocational Secondary School (JJDVSTVSS), in partnership with the Philippine National Police (PNP) Dagupan, successfully conducted a simulation exercise on emergency response to a stabbing incident within the school premises. The activity equipped students, teachers, and school personnel with the proper knowledge and response protocols during critical situations.
