T. Ayson Rosario Elementary School Holds First Quarter PTC and Card Distribution

Calmay, Dagupan City – September 4, 2025. T. Ayson Rosario Elementary School successfully held its First Quarter Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC) and distribution of report cards, with 265 parents and guardians attending to receive their child’s academic progress.

The activity came after the First Quarter Examination administered last August 20 and 22, 2025. The PTC provided an opportunity for teachers and parents to discuss learners’ performance, address concerns, and strengthen home-school collaboration.

A total of 15 class advisers facilitated the card distribution across all grade levels: two teachers each for Kindergarten, Grade 1, Grade 3, Grade 4, Grade 5, and Grade 6, and three teachers for Grade 2. Two SPT teachers also assisted in organizing the parent assembly, ensuring an orderly and smooth flow of the activity.

During the conference, the school principal addressed the parents, highlighting upcoming school activities and the Aral-Reading Program. The principal also encouraged parents to take an active role in their children’s education while expressing gratitude for their continuous support and partnership.

While the activity was generally successful, challenges such as limited seating during the assembly and the absence of some parents due to work-related schedules were noted. Teachers also identified the need for targeted interventions for learners with gaps in foundational skills.

Despite these concerns, notable practices emerged, including strong parental turnout, teamwork among teachers, and the effective use of the PTC to emphasize both academic performance and values formation.

The school looks forward to sustaining stronger collaboration with parents by enhancing communication strategies, conducting remediation programs, and preparing better facilities for future assemblies.
