Lyceum-Northwestern University (L-NU) announces the resumption of blended learning classes on Monday, September 21, 2026.

📚 Classes will be conducted through a combination of face-to-face and online learning modalities, depending on the program, course, and prevailing conditions.

Students are advised to coordinate with their respective Colleges, Departments, Deans, or Program Coordinators for their specific class schedules, modality, and other arrangements.

The University continues to prioritize the safety, well-being, and continuity of learning for the entire L-NU community.

The Lyceum-Northwestern University – College of Information and Computing Studies (LNU-CICS) proudly congratulates our Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) students for their participation and commendable performance in the TOPCIT Examination!

L-NU CICS has been an active participant in SIGLOC since the 11th SIGLOC, reflecting our continued commitment to providing our students with meaningful global learning opportunities, international exposure, and cross-cultural experiences.

This year’s SIGLOC-Online carried the theme:

Lyceum-Northwestern University proudly celebrates the remarkable participation of our BS Information Technology students in the 14th TOPCIT (Test of Practical Competency in IT), successfully conducted last July 23, 2026, simultaneously across participating Higher Education Institutions in the Philippines.

The TOPCIT is an internet-based, performance-based examination that rigorously measures the practical competencies, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities of students in the field of Information Technology. This international assessment is organized by the Ministry of Science and ICT (MSIT) and the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation (IITP) of South Korea, aiming to align academic training with global industry standards and expectations.

By taking part in this prestigious examination, our students demonstrated not only their technical knowledge but also their readiness to face real-world IT challenges. Their participation reflects the university’s strong commitment to producing globally competitive graduates equipped with the skills, discipline, and innovation needed in today’s rapidly evolving digital landscape.

This milestone is a testament to the dedication of our students, the guidance of our faculty, and the continuous efforts of the College of Information and Computing Studies to uphold excellence in IT education. Every effort, every preparation, and every challenge faced along the way has contributed to this meaningful achievement.

| The College of Information and Computing Studies proudly congratulates our two student delegates for successfully completing the 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐢 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 (𝐊𝐔-𝐄𝐎𝐋) 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦 hosted by 𝐊𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐢 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧.

Originally launched in 2020, the 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗶 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 (𝗞𝗨-𝗘𝗢𝗟) 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 provides students from partner institutions outside Japan the opportunity to participate in selected online courses offered by Kansai University free of charge.

Through interactive online classes and Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) activities, students engage with peers from Japan and various countries, fostering global perspectives and intercultural understanding.

During the seven-week fully online program, participants attended weekly lectures, collaborative discussions, and intercultural exchange activities alongside students from different parts of the world.

As part of their academic engagement, our delegates successfully completed the course “𝐉𝐚𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬,”gaining valuable insights into Japan’s rich cultural heritage while strengthening their global competence and cross-cultural communication skills.
