[ICYM] ๐ LNU CICS Strengthens Industry Partnership through Cybersecurity and Data Forensics Training
The College of Information and Computing Studies (CICS) of Lyceum-Northwestern University proudly participated as an academe partner in the Cyber Security and Data Forensics Training organized in collaboration with Digiforce Cybersecurity IT Services and Makerspace Innovhub.
Representing LNU in this significant cybersecurity training was Mr. Jhann Erict Tinaza, who actively attended the sessions and gained valuable insights into cybersecurity practices, digital forensics, reconnaissance techniques, and mobile forensic tools such as UFED and FRP bypass. The training served as a platform for strengthening technical competencies and fostering collaboration between the academe and the cybersecurity industry.
The College extends its sincere appreciation to Christian Idia, CEO of Digiforce Cybersecurity IT Services, and Tzar Umang, CTO of Makerspace Innovhub, for their leadership and dedication in making this training a successful and meaningful learning experience. The expertise shared by the speakers and trainers greatly contributed to strengthening cybersecurity awareness and digital forensic capabilities among the participants.

CHED RAISE 2026: Responding through AI for Societal Empowerment was successfully held last February 25โ27, 2026, at the Iloilo Convention Center in Iloilo City.
Lyceum-Northwestern University proudly participated in this significant gathering of higher education leaders and innovators, represented by Sir Cristian, demonstrating LNUโs commitment to advancing research, embracing artificial intelligence, and promoting technology-driven solutions for societal development.
CHED RAISE 2026 advanced the national discourse from alignment to empowerment by highlighting the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for societal good. The summit underscored the strategic role of higher education institutions in contributing to the countryโs aspirations for inclusion, sustainability, innovation, and equitable development.
LNU continues to move forward in integrating AI and innovation in its academic and research initiatives โ shaping future-ready graduates and contributing to nation-building.
