Additionally, we warmly invite and value the presence of all parents and guardians in the Parents Orientation. Your participation is essential as we work together to ensure a smooth, safe, and well-guided start of the school year. Key details such as class schedules and other important information will be shared by the respective academic advisers on Day 1, June 17, 2026.

DWAD Back-to-School Preparation Program 2026

Today, June 13, 2026, Divine Word Academy of Dagupan, Inc. officially launched its Back-to-School Preparation Program 2026, a three-day initiative that will run until June 16, 2026, in preparation for the opening of classes on June 17, 2026.

Through the collective efforts of administrators, faculty, staff, parents, alumni, and volunteers, the Academy undertakes campus cleaning, maintenance, and improvement activities to ensure a safe, orderly, and welcoming learning environment for all students.

The school extends its sincere gratitude to everyone who has generously contributed their time, effort, and resources in support of this undertaking. Their dedication reflects the spirit of service, stewardship, and commitment to educational excellence that defines the DWAD community.

Together, we prepare for a successful and meaningful Academic Year 2026–2027.

A proud Divinian, 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔 𝑽𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝑫𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒅, earned recognition at the 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝟏 𝐍𝐞𝐰 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐓𝐚𝐞𝐤𝐰𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩𝐬 on May 23, 2026, held at the Binmaley Evacuation Center in Binmaley, Pangasinan. Competing in the Junior Female category, she proudly secured the 𝘽𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙯𝙚 𝙈𝙚𝙙𝙖𝙡 in an event that gathered martial arts teams from across Region I for Kyorugi and Poomsae competitions, a shining testament to her dedication, discipline, and talent.

The DWAD community proudly celebrates Myca B. Doria, one of our very own Lady Janssenites, for an impressive run in the 2026 Palarong Pambansa as a member of the Region 1 5x5 Secondary Girls Basketball Team.

Battling against the best young talents from across the country, Myca and Team Region 1 powered their way to a Quarterfinals finish, proving they can compete with the nation's finest. With grit, heart, and relentless determination, they proudly carried the Region 1 banner on the country's biggest stage for student-athletes.

Your Janssenite family is proud of you, Myca! Keep grinding, keep shining, and keep raising the bar. The future is bright!

The Region 1 5x5 Secondary Boys Basketball Team—proudly represented by Divine Word Academy of Dagupan (DWAD)—has officially wrapped up an unforgettable 2026 Palarong Pambansa campaign, securing an incredible Top 5 finish out of 18 of the absolute best teams in the Philippines! Capping off this historic run with a hard-earned, high-stakes Quarterfinals appearance, these boys didn't just play; they put the entire nation on notice.

From regional champions to elite national contenders, the Janssenites left their hearts, sweat, and hustle on the hardwood. Every single possession was a battle fought with discipline, pride, and the roaring spirit of Region 1 and Dagupan City.

Behind the run was months of preparation, sacrifice, and commitment—built by the players, coaches, and everyone who believed in the journey. The team extends its deepest gratitude to the following who made this campaign possible:

The battle in Agusan del Sur may have reached its final buzzer, but this is nowhere near the end. A Quarterfinal finish and a Top 5 national ranking stand as absolute proof of how far this program has come—and a warning of how much further we are going to go.

Region 1 represented. Dagupan proud. The Janssenites are rising, and we are just getting started!

A journey towards a vision is best traveled with guides who inspire us to push forward.

This afternoon, our student leaders, together with the Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) and Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) Officers, took a massive step forward in their leadership journey during the Leadership Training 2026 with the theme, "𝙇𝙖𝙠𝙗𝙖𝙮 𝙃𝙞𝙧𝙖𝙮𝙖: 𝙅𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙣𝙚𝙮 𝙏𝙤𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙑𝙞𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙐𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨."

We were incredibly honored and privileged to have no less than the 'Voice of the Youth' of Dagupan City, 𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗹 𝗛𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘆 "𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗮" 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀, as our Guest Resource Speaker!

Councilor Tala graciously shared her inspiring journey from being a grassroots SK Chairperson to becoming one of the dynamic young lady legislators of the Sangguniang Panlungsod ng Dagupan. With her sharp wit, brilliance, and genuine passion for youth empowerment, she answered the burning questions of our participants, leaving everyone with invaluable insights on what it truly means to lead with a heart for service.
