This National ROTC Month, PHINMA–University of Pangasinan thru the National Service Training Program proudly joins the nation in honoring our cadets at Naval Detachment Bonuan. ROTC is more than training, it is a foundation of discipline, leadership, and patriotism. It prepares the youth to serve with courage, to lead with integrity, and to stand ready in times of national need.

Forty years ago today, the crowd in EDSA had no idea that the next day would mark the end of the Marcos dictatorship. They stayed in the streets anyway — united by a shared dream of a better future for the Philippines. That dream gave them the courage to hold their ground in the face of immense uncertainty.

Forty years later, it is worth asking: 𝗛𝗮𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗲? 𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀?

Looking around us, it’s easy to understand why many have grown doubtful and disengaged. “Rally na naman? Ano bang nagagawa ng pag-rally?”
