Today, we can send data from one end of the world to the other in seconds, make online presentations, live in parallel "game worlds," and use pictures, video, sound, and text to share our true identities. Personal stories are made public, and local issues are taken on a global scale. Citizens are becoming concerned that the most intimate details of their daily lives are being monitored, searched, and recorded.
