In an effort to empower its employees and students, Camarines Norte State College organized a Free Civil Service Eligibility Review, which was held at CNSC Main Campus Student Center, Daet on Saturday, July 29, 2023. The first day of this event proved to be highly fulfilling, providing attendees with essential knowledge and valuable insights to prepare for the upcoming Civil Service Exam scheduled on the third week of August.
During the opening ceremony, Ms. Nicole Anne G. Panotes, Presidential Management Staff (PMS), delivered a heartwarming welcome message, setting a positive and encouraging tone for the day. She emphasized that this activity is a priority program of the Office of the President, specifically, by our College President Dr. Marlo M. De La Cruz.
As the event transitioned to the lecture proper, all eyes were on Mr. Bryan M. Torres, a distinguished faculty member from the College of Education (CoEd), and the president of the CNSC Employees Association. Introduced by the PMS, Mr. Torres took the stage to guide the attendees through the intricacies of answering and deciphering the numerical ability part of the Civil Service Exam. Mr. Torres actively engaged the attendees, offering his unwavering support and sharing his knowledge with them.

With an equal sense of eagerness and enthusiasm, the reviewees persisted in attentively sitting and listening during Day 2 of the CSE Review on Sunday, July 30, 2023. In this lecture session, Ms. Elsa T. Manlangit, a faculty member from the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), delved into the Analytical Ability section of the exam, which encompassed word association, as well as identifying assumptions and conclusions.
The success of the day 1 and 2 of the CSE Review was a testaments to the commitment of Camarines Norte State College in nurturing the potential of its employees and students. The institutionโs dedication to fostering a culture of continuous learning and empowerment was reflected in the beaming faces of the reviewees as they left the venue, carrying with them indelible knowledge and encouragement needed to thrive in the upcoming Civil Service Exam.
