DAY 02 | February 24, 2026✨

From early registration to the much-awaited Fun Walk, Run, and Ride, Day 02 was started filled with energy and excitement. Participants journeyed from LCCD to Bagasbas Beach, celebrating wellness, unity, and community spirit every step of the way. 🌊🏃‍♂️🚴‍♀️

✨DAY 1 HIGHLIGHTS ✨
| February 23, 2026 |

Day 1 of the celebration opened with a meaningful assembly and Thanksgiving Mass, bringing the LCCD community together in gratitude and reflection. The energy quickly rose as students and participants gathered for the parade, filling the campus with color, excitement, and school spirit.

The DBC and Twirlers Exhibition added vibrance to the morning, leading into the Opening Program. The ceremony began with the doxology led by the Student Coordinating Body and Supreme Student Council, followed by the National Anthem.

Mr. Ramil Edward V. Cariño, Dean of the College of Nursing, delivered the opening remarks, warmly welcoming everyone to the celebration. Sr. Angelita J. Sagun, OSA, President/College Dean/Principal, shared an inspiring message that reminded the community of unity, dedication, and pride in being part of LCCD.

At 11:00 AM, the campus became even more lively with the official opening of the community booths, featuring BED and college clubs and organizations, alongside the much-anticipated Alumni Exhibition Game. The afternoon continued with “The Voice of LCCD,” where students showcased their talents and kept the celebratory spirit alive throughout the day.

In a Christian context, orange represents the burning desire to serve, to seek truth, and to love in action. It bridges faith and works which reflects the LCC-Daet’s mission to nurture students who not only believe, but live out Augustinian-Marian values through service, compassion, and community involvement.

This represents hope, rooted in stability and steadfastness amidst challenges. As La Consolacion College of Daet Inc. marks its 78th year since its establishment in 1948, the anchor symbolizes the institution’s enduring strength and resilience. Through the years, the institution weathered trials while remaining firm in its vision, mission, and core values which serves as a guiding force for generations of learners.

This symbolizes love and faith that are alive and active. Also, the flame represents the passion for learning, commitment to truth, and the burning mission to spread Christian education.

It represents the institution itself as it celebrates its 78th founding anniversary.

It represents La Consolacion College of Daet Inc. as a nurturing institution that supports, uplifts, and shapes its learners. The hand reflects God’s providential care working through the institution—guiding learners, educators, and the community toward holistic formation. It also signifies the institution’s commitment to extending help, compassion, and education to others, especially in times of need.

𝕋ℍ𝔼 ℂℝ𝕆𝕊𝕊
It is subtly formed by the orange line intersecting the blue number seven, symbolizing love and faith in God at the center of the institution. Though it is understated, it apprises how faith quietly but firmly guides the institution’s mission, values, and educational journey as a Catholic Augustinian community.
