Education becomes more meaningful when knowledge is transformed into skills, creativity, and purposeful action. In this edition of BTLED Spotlight, we feature ๐๐ฎ๐ถ๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐น๐น๐ฎ๐ป๐ผ, ๐๐ฃ๐ง, a Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education - Major in Home Economics (BTLEd-HE) alumna whose journey reflects the practical and creative dimensions of Technology and Livelihood Education.
A graduate of ๐๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐น๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ผ๐ณ ๐ง๐ฒ๐ฐ๐ต๐ป๐ผ๐น๐ผ๐ด๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ๐น๐ถ๐ต๐ผ๐ผ๐ฑ ๐๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป - ๐ ๐ฎ๐ท๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ผ๐บ๐ฒ ๐๐ฐ๐ผ๐ป๐ผ๐บ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ (๐๐ง๐๐๐ฑ-๐๐) and a ๐๐ถ๐ฐ๐ฒ๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐ณ๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐ฎ๐น ๐ง๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฟ (๐๐ฃ๐ง), Daisy chose BTLEd-HE because it allowed her to bring together her passion for learning, creativity, and teaching. For her, education goes beyond what is learned from booksโit is also about developing competencies that can be applied meaningfully in everyday life.
Among the many skills cultivated through TLE, dressmaking holds a special place in her journey. Beyond creating something functional, the craft has taught her the value of patience, precision, creativity, and attention to detailโqualities that extend beyond the sewing table and into professional and personal growth.

Ultimately, BTLED is not simply preparation for a career. It is an avenue for developing competence, creativity, confidence, and a capacity to create opportunities through meaningful skills.
