📢 OPLAN BALIK-ESKWELA: School Readiness Assessment and Monitoring 📢

Today, our school warmly welcomed the members of the OPLAN Balik-Eskwela School Readiness Assessment and Monitoring Team, led by Ma'am Lalaine R. Caabay, EPSA II, together with Sir Rogelio V. Jackson Jr, Principal I of CNHS, Sir John Edward Wabe, School Head of Lumbercamp NHS, Sir Jose R. Eguia, Head Teacher II of Abud-Abod Elementary School, and Nurse Cha P. Palay, District Nurse, as they conducted their assessment and monitoring visit in preparation for the opening of classes.

We are delighted to have received and accommodated our valued visitors as they evaluated our school's readiness in terms of facilities, learning resources, safety measures, and other essential preparations for the incoming school year.

The visit served as an opportunity to showcase our collective efforts and commitment to providing a safe, organized, and learner-friendly environment for all students.

Successful Conduct of the First General PTA Assembly

Halsey National High School successfully conducted its First General PTA Assembly for the School Year 2026–2027. The event was attended by parents, teachers, and school stakeholders who gathered to discuss important matters concerning the welfare and development of the learners and the school community.
During the assembly, various agenda were presented and thoroughly discussed, including school programs, projects, policies, and plans for the current school year. The meeting served as an avenue for open communication, collaboration, and shared decision-making between the school and the parents.
We are pleased to announce that the assembly was highly successful, and all agenda presented during the meeting were unanimously agreed upon by the parents. This remarkable display of unity and cooperation reflects the strong commitment of our stakeholders to support the goals and aspirations of Halsey National High School.

For many years, Halsey National High School community has dreamed of having a stable electricity connection that would enhance the quality of education and provide learners with access to more effective, innovative, and technology-driven teaching and learning experiences. Today, that long-awaited dream has finally become a reality.

This significant milestone was made possible through the collaborative efforts and unwavering support of the Local Government Unit of Culion. Special thanks to Mayor Cesar "Oyet" M. De Vera, Vice Mayor Ma. Virginia N. De Vera, Municipal Administrator Sir Maxim F. Raymundo, and Ma'am Mia Pastrano for the allocation of Special Education Fund. Also, we are grateful for the help of our Former PSDS of Culion Ma’am Florita P. Rodriguez; the one-call away BISELCO Lineman, Mr. Macmac Aseoche; our supportive Brgy. Kagawad Hon. Myrold Martinez, and the HNHS GPTA Officers for S.Y. 2025–2026 led by Mr. Albert Valle.

The successful electrification of Halsey National High School also stands as a testament to the dedication and initiative of our Teacher-in-Charge, Ma’am Che whose commitment to improving the school’s learning environment helped turn this vision into reality.

With the installation of electricity, Halsey National High School is now better equipped to deliver quality, relevant, and future-ready education, opening greater opportunities for both teachers and learners.
