CNVS Named Best Implementing School – Khan Academy
Culaba National Vocational School (CNVS) was recognized as the Best Implementing School – Khan Academy for School Year 2025–2026 during the 2026 PASIDUNGOG, SODA, Partnership Roadshow, and National and World Teachers’ Day Celebrations held at the Biliran Province State University Gymnasium on October 6, 2026.
Representing CNVS, Mrs. Melanie Ruth G. Rosario, Khan Academy Coordinator, received the award on behalf of the school, recognizing the collective effort of the school community in strengthening the implementation and utilization of Khan Academy as a learning support platform.
The recognition highlights CNVS’s commitment to providing learners with opportunities to strengthen their skills through technology-assisted learning while encouraging teachers to maximize available digital resources to support classroom instruction and learner progress.
School Principal Mr. Elpie P. Leanda credited Rosario’s commitment, initiative, and sustained coordination as a significant factor in the school’s achievement.
“This recognition is a reflection of Mrs. Melanie Ruth G. Rosario’s dedication and quiet but consistent work. She did not simply coordinate a program; she helped build a culture where technology is used purposefully to support learning. Her commitment, together with the efforts of our Khan implementors, teachers, learners, parents, and the entire CNVS community, made this achievement possible. Melanie, this award is a well-deserved recognition of your service and commitment to our learners. We are proud of you.”
Rosario, meanwhile, emphasized that the award is not hers alone but a shared achievement of the entire CNVS community.
“We could not have achieved this award without the support of our School Principal, Sir Elpie P. Leanda, and the entire CNVS community. Thank you, Sir Elpie, for your support and encouragement, as well as Sir Eduardo Tan, and Ma’am Maridel Uselding. I also share this award with Sir JB Gerosa and all the CNVS Khan implementors. This is truly a WIN for the entire CNVS community—our administration, teachers, learners, and parents. I hope we can sustain and even strengthen this achievement this school year. Laban lang!”
The recognition further strengthens CNVS’s commitment to sustaining meaningful technology integration and ensuring that digital learning platforms contribute to improved learner engagement and achievement.
CNVS also expressed its appreciation to Ms. G. Napoles, Administrative Officer IV (AO IV), for documenting the recognition through video and helping preserve the milestone for the school community.
For CNVS, the award is more than a distinction—it is a reminder of what can be achieved when one team works toward one goal and shares one commitment to learner success.
One Team. One CNVS.
