Bool NHS Distributes School Supplies to Teachers, Readies Cleaning Materials for Upcoming Distribution

Bool East, Culaba, Biliran — Demonstrating its commitment to supporting teachers and ensuring readiness for the opening of classes, Bool NHS distributed school supplies to its teaching personnel last June 8, 2026, in preparation for the Instructional Block of School Year 2026–2027.

The distribution activity was spearheaded by Dr. Anne Verian-Pacad, School Head, together with Ms. Sharity Ebina, Administrative Officer II and School Supply Officer, who facilitated the release of the supplies to teachers.

As part of the initiative, each teacher received two (2) reams of bond paper to assist in the preparation of instructional materials, learning resources, assessments, and other classroom requirements. In addition, Mr. Arvin Bono, a MAPEH teacher, received a 3-in-1 Brother Printer to further support his instructional and administrative responsibilities.

Meanwhile, the school has also procured 210 boxes of Red Dye Wax as part of its cleaning and maintenance supplies. These are scheduled for distribution within the week to further support teachers in maintaining clean, organized, and learner-friendly classrooms. Under the allocation scheme, seven (7) boxes each will be distributed to class advisers and teachers-in-charge of the school's laboratories.

In her message, Dr. Pacad expressed her sincere appreciation for the dedication, commitment, and selfless service consistently demonstrated by the teaching personnel of Bool National High School. She emphasized that the school administration remains steadfast in finding ways to support teachers and provide them with the resources necessary to perform their duties effectively.

The initiative underscores the school's continuing efforts to foster a supportive and empowering work environment for teachers while ensuring that classrooms are adequately prepared for the new academic year. Through the collaborative efforts of the school administration and teaching force, Bool National High School remains committed to providing quality education and meaningful learning experiences for every learner.

Bool NHS Completes Brigada Mathrathon for Incoming Grade 7 Learners

Bool East, Culaba, Biliran— Bool NHS successfully concluded its Brigada Mathrathon: Bridging the Gap – Grade 7 Math Readiness Program, a bridging initiative designed to strengthen the mathematical foundation of incoming Grade 7 learners for School Year 2026–2027.

The program, which benefited 28 incoming Grade 7 students, aimed to reinforce mastery of key Grade 6 mathematics concepts, particularly in numeracy and operations, prepare learners for the academic demands of Grade 7 by addressing learning gaps, and assess and monitor students' readiness levels before the opening of formal classes.

Throughout the program, participants engaged in a series of learning activities and enrichment sessions focused on enhancing their mathematical skills and confidence. The initiative served as an avenue for learners to review essential competencies and develop readiness for higher-level mathematical concepts they will encounter in junior high school.

The successful implementation of the program was spearheaded by Mrs. Salomie Geronimo, Lead Proponent, with the support of Ms. Rosa Palconit, Co-Proponent. Their dedication and commitment to learner success contributed significantly to the achievement of the program's objectives.

In a statement, Dr. Anne Verian-Pacad, School Head, extended her heartfelt appreciation to the program proponents for their initiative, dedication, and unwavering commitment to improving learner outcomes.

Dr. Verian-Pacad also expressed her appreciation to the learners, parents, and stakeholders who supported the initiative. The Brigada Mathrathon reflects the Bool NHS's commitment to providing quality educational interventions that promote academic preparedness and lifelong learning.

Bool NHS Holds Successful 1st General Parents’ Assembly for SY 2026–2027

Bool East, Culaba, Biliran – Bool NHS successfully conducted its 1st General Parents-Teachers Assembly for School Year 2026–2027 last June 11, 2026, bringing together parents, teachers, and school officials to discuss important school policies, programs, and initiatives aimed at strengthening collaboration between the school and the community in support of learners' success.

The assembly commenced at 8:30 AM with the preliminaries, followed by the welcome message and the formal introduction of the new School Head of Bool NHS, Dr. Anne A. Verian-Pacad. In her address, Dr. Verian-Pacad expressed her gratitude to the parents for their attendance and support and shared her vision for the continued growth and development of the school. She discussed the DepEd No Collection Policy, emphasizing the Department of Education’s commitment to providing free basic education while encouraging stakeholders to continue supporting school programs and initiatives. She also presented DepEd Order No. 009, s. 2026, which outlines the guidelines on the implementation of the three-term school year structure, and called on parents to remain actively involved in their children's education to ensure the school's continued progress.

During the assembly, Mrs. Jellete Tan discussed DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026, which focuses on ensuring a safe, supportive, and motivating learning environment for all learners. She highlighted the importance of fostering a school culture that promotes learner well-being, positive behavior, inclusivity, and a conducive atmosphere for teaching and learning. Parents were encouraged to work closely with the school in maintaining a safe and nurturing environment both inside and outside the classroom.

To promote transparency and accountability, Mr. Jason Devio, Administrative Assistant II, presented the school's Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) Utilization Report, providing parents with an overview of how school funds are allocated and utilized. Meanwhile, Hon. Azuela Geronimo, the outgoing SPTA Treasurer, delivered the SPTA Financial Statement, informing parents of the association’s financial status and expenditures. Mr. King Philip C. Gonzal, Department Head, discussed DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2026, which provides the revised guidelines on assessment, grading, and recognition of learners, as well as DepEd Order No. 017, s. 2026, which pertains to the strengthened implementation of the Senior High School Program.

One of the highlights of the assembly was the election of the new set of School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) Officers for School Year 2026–2027. Elected to serve were Hon. Azuela Geronimo as President, Hon. Jimmy Espinar as Vice-President, Jennerizza Pazon as Secretary, Nedie Cañete as Treasurer, Giovannie Pedrosa and Cresvi Florida as Auditors, and Rocky Parta as Peace Officer. Serving as Public Information Officers (PIOs) representing their respective barangays are Neriza Rosallosa for Bool East, Lyan Siera for Bool Central, Milabe Carpon for Bool West, Nancy Alea for Acaban and Salvacion, Melane Estoy for Patag, Genevev Olarte for Binongtoan, Gian Adan for Bacolod, Marlon Abijay for Calipayan, and Michelle Acuram for Muse, while Norberto Ortega Jr. was elected as Es**rt.

In her closing message, Dr. Verian-Pacad thanked all parents for their continued trust, support, and active participation in school affairs. She emphasized that the school's ability to deliver quality services and meaningful learning experiences for learners is strengthened through the collective efforts of parents, teachers, and stakeholders. She likewise expressed her hope for a stronger partnership and closer collaboration with parents throughout School Year 2026–2027 as Bool NHS continues its commitment to excellence and learner-centered education.

Bool NHS Receives 100 Monoblock Chairs from Provincial Government of Biliran

Naval, Biliran – Bool NHS officially received 100 monoblock chairs from the Provincial Government of Biliran through the generosity and unwavering support of Provincial Governor Hon. Rogelio J. Espina, MD, DPBO, FPOA.

The donation was formally received by the school's new School Head, Dr. Anne Verian-Pacad, on June 8, 2026, at the Provincial Capitol in Naval, Biliran. The provision of the monoblock chairs stemmed from a request previously initiated by the former School Head of Bool NHS, Dr. Elen Canonoy, in response to the school's need for additional seating and furniture to support learners and various school activities.

In her message of gratitude, Dr. Verian-Pacad extended her deepest appreciation to the Provincial Government of Biliran and Governor Espina for their continued commitment and support to the education sector. She likewise conveyed her heartfelt thanks to Dr. Canonoy for making the request and helping secure the much-needed assistance for the school.

Dr. Verian-Pacad also expressed her sincerest appreciation to the Barangay Council of Patag, headed by Punong Barangay Hon. Elena Gonzal, for providing transportation assistance for the requested chairs. Through the support of the barangay, the 100 monoblock chairs were successfully delivered directly to Bool National High School, ensuring their immediate availability for the benefit of learners and the school community.

The school administration, faculty, and learners remain grateful for the collaborative efforts of the Provincial Government of Biliran, the Barangay Council of Patag, and all stakeholders whose support continues to contribute to the improvement of educational facilities and learning conditions at Bool NHS.

Bool NHS Receives ₱10,000 from BNHSAAI in Support of Brigada Eskwela and SY 2026-2027 Opening

Bool East, Culaba, Biliran - The Bool National High School Alumni Association Inc. (BNHSAAI) extended financial support amounting to Ten Thousand Pesos (₱10,000.00) in support of Brigada Eskwela activities and the opening of classes for School Year 2026–2027.

The donation was officially turned over on June 3, 2026, by Mrs. Nenieta Kho Bacarro Sadel, Treasurer of the organization, on behalf of the BNHSAAI officers, headed by President Mr. Jay C. Gonzal, MPA.

The amount was received by Mrs. Marlyn Lucahin, School Faculty Treasurer, together with the school teachers.

Bool NHS officially welcomes all BoolNSHians for the opening of School Year 2026–2027 as learners, teachers, parents, and stakeholders gather once again for another year of meaningful educational experiences and opportunities.

Based on the enrolment data as of June 8, 2026, Bool National High School warmly welcomes a total of 726 learners for the current school year, marking another milestone in the school’s continued commitment to providing accessible and quality education to the community.

In her welcome message, School Head Dr. Anne A.
