CACES visits DOCES

The Cabanatuan Catholic Educational System (CACES) visited the Diocese of Cubao Educational System for an educational conversation of best practices of Cubao parochial schools. The delegation from CACES was headed by their diocesan superintendent, Fr. Jojo Mallari. He is also school president of Divina Pastora College in Gapan. With him was Fr. Joseph Azarcon, president of College of the Immaculate Conception, Cabanatuan City. Lay school directors of their parochial schools in the province of Nueva Ecija were also in attendance. They were welcomed by our DOCES superintendent Fr. Raymond Joseph Arre with the assistant superintendents of DOCES, Frs. Gerry Moscardon, Edryll Dayrit, Mr. Ferdie Garcia and Fr. Gelo Parlan. Completing the DOCES team were other heads of the different DOCES centers. It was a fruitful, learning benchmarking encounter and visit.

MaPSA 2026 Annual Corporate and Board Meetings

Despite the heavy rains and floods, the Annual MaPSA Board meeting proceeded last Monday, August 17, 2026, at the Archbishopโ€™s Palace, Villa San Miguel, Mandaluyong City, with the cardinals, bishops, officers, priests and lay board members in attendance. Notable are several new school systems from different dioceses from across the country who have been accepted by the Board as new members.

The DOCES board chairman and bishop of Cubao, Bp. Elias Ayuban, D.D., together with our DOCES superintendent, Fr. Raymond Joseph L. Arre, attended said meeting. Our DOCES superintendent was re-elected as MaPSA vice-president together with Fr. Albert Delvo as President and the other officers of MaPSA.
