Aringay National High School proudly congratulates its student-athletes and coaches for their dedication, determination, and sportsmanship in the concluded Kabacan Municipal Meet.

The ANHS Men’s Sepak Takraw Team, under the guidance of Coach Sir Ali Tacuken, and the Men’s Basketball 5x5 Team, coached by Sir Joherie Wagia, displayed remarkable teamwork, discipline, and fighting spirit throughout the competition. Regardless of the results, their commitment and perseverance brought pride to the entire ANHS community.

Meanwhile, the ANHS Women’s Basketball 3x3 Team, coached by Sir Hamdy Anta, delivered an outstanding performance, capturing the Championship title at the Kabacan Municipal Meet. With their impressive victory, the team earned the opportunity to represent Kabacan in the upcoming Congressional Meet 2026.

The achievement is a testament to the athletes’ hard work, determination, and unwavering commitment, as well as the dedication of their coaches who continue to guide and inspire them both on and off the court.

Congratulations to all our athletes and coaches! Win or lose, you have already made ANHS proud. Keep playing, keep fighting, and keep bringing the ANHS spirit wherever you go!

𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝟭𝟲, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗔𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗡𝗧-𝗔𝗧𝗛𝗟𝗘𝗧𝗘𝗦 𝗦𝗛𝗜𝗡𝗘 𝗔𝗧 𝗞𝗔𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗡𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗛 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗧 𝗠𝗘𝗘𝗧

Aringay National High School student-athletes brought pride and honor to the school as they delivered impressive performances at the recently concluded Kabacan North District Meet.

Leading the team’s successful campaign was the ANHS Men’s Basketball 5x5 Team, which emerged as Champion after a strong and determined performance throughout the competition under the guidance of Coach Sir Joherie Wagia. Their championship finish earned them a coveted spot in the upcoming Municipal Meet, where they will represent the Kabacan North District.

The Women’s Volleyball Team, coached by Sir Ryan Miguel, also displayed exceptional teamwork and fighting spirit, securing the title of 1st Runner-Up.

Meanwhile, ANHS made its mark in the board game arena as the Chess Team secured 2nd Place in Table B under the mentorship of Coach Ma’am Sapia Abdulsamad. The achievement also qualified the ANHS chess player for the Municipal Meet.

Adding to ANHS’s representation at the next level, the school’s Men’s Sepak Takraw Team and Women’s Basketball 3x3 Team will also compete at the Municipal Meet after earning unopposed qualification.

𝗔𝗨𝗚𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝗔𝗡𝗛𝗦 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗚𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗡𝗦 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗜𝗧𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗧𝗢 𝗔 𝗦𝗠𝗢𝗞𝗘-𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗧𝗛𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 𝗦𝗨𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗙𝗨𝗟 𝗘𝗩𝗔𝗟𝗨𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡

Aringay National High School successfully underwent the Search for Smoke-Free Institution Evaluation, highlighting the school’s continuing commitment to promoting a healthy, safe, and to***co-free learning environment for its learners, personnel, and stakeholders.

The evaluation was conducted by the Anti-Smoking Evaluators from the Rural Health Unit of Kabacan, headed by Ma’am Honey Joy C. Cabellon, RN, who assessed the school’s implementation of to***co control policies, programs, and initiatives.

Leading the school’s efforts was the ANHS Comprehensive To***co Control Program Task Force, composed of School Principal Ma’am Dorcas Consuelo D. Revaula, together with Ma’am Ivy Rose D. Mangay-ayam, Ma’am Joann O. Rivera, Ma’am Kristine Joy D. Nebrija, Ma’am Darlene R. Traya, and Sir Hamdy S. Anta. The task force spearheaded the preparation and implementation of the necessary measures to ensure compliance with smoke-free school standards.

The successful evaluation reflects the collective efforts of the ANHS administration, teachers, learners, and stakeholders in maintaining a school environment that prioritizes health, safety, and well-being.

More than simply meeting evaluation standards, ANHS continues to champion a culture of responsibility, health consciousness, and to***co-free living, reinforcing its commitment to providing learners with a safe and healthy environment where they can learn and thrive.

Buong-pusong nakikiisa ang Pambansang Mataas na Paaralan ng Aringay sa pagdiriwang ng Buwan ng Wikang Pambansa 2026 na may temang: “Wikang Filipino at AI: Kasangkapan sa Pananaliksik at Tulay sa Yaman ng Impormasyon.”

Sa patuloy na pag-unlad ng teknolohiya, patunay na ang Wikang Filipino ay patuloy na yumayabong at umaangkop sa makabagong panahon. Sa wastong paggamit ng Artificial Intelligence (AI), nagiging mas malawak ang ating daan tungo sa pananaliksik at pagkatuto.

Bilang isang paaralan, sama-sama nating itaguyod ang wastong paggamit ng teknolohiya, pagpapahalaga sa sariling wika, at mapanuring pag-iisip upang maging responsable at makabuluhang bahagi ng makabagong lipunan.

Wika, Teknolohiya, at Karunungan ay magkatuwang tungo sa mas makabuluhang pagkatuto!

As part of its continuing commitment to promoting a healthy, safe, and smoke-free school environment, Aringay National High School intensified its Anti-Smoking Campaign through the distribution of informative flyers and brochures in every classroom.

The information materials highlighted the harmful effects of smoking and va**ng, emphasizing their serious impact on the human body and overall well-being. During the distribution, a brief classroom reminders were conducted, encouraging learners to make healthy choices and stay away from to***co and ni****ne products.

This initiative is a collaborative effort of the Aringay National High School Boy Scouts of the Philippines, the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD) Officers, and classroom presidents, working together to raise awareness and foster a culture of health, responsibility, and informed decision-making among the student body.

Through unity and education, ANHS continues to empower every learner to say "No to Smoking and Va**ng, Yes to a Healthier and Brighter Future!"

Former Parents-Teachers Association President Dante Lumomba recently visited Aringay National High School to inspect the completed school perimeter fence project, one of the major initiatives of the PTA during School Year 2025–2026. Originally targeting the construction of five fence spans, the project exceeded expectations with a total of ten fence spans successfully completed through the collective efforts and support of the school community.

The school perimeter fencing project continues this School Year 2026–2027 under the supervision of Barangay Aringay Committee on Infrastructure Chairperson, Kagawad Edris Wagia, in partnership with the newly elected PTA officers. The ongoing expansion reflects the shared commitment of the barangay and the PTA to further enhance the school's physical facilities.

The perimeter fencing project serves as an important safety measure designed to strengthen campus security and promote the protection, safety, and overall welfare of learners, teaching and non-teaching personnel, and other members of the school community. It also demonstrates the strong collaboration among school stakeholders in creating a safer and more secure learning environment.

A Joint School Safety and Welfare Meeting was successfully conducted today at the Aringay National High School Covered Court, bringing together key stakeholders to strengthen collaboration in ensuring the safety, security, and overall welfare of learners.

The activity was attended by parents and Parent-Teacher Association presidents from Aringay National High School and Aringay Elementary School. The meeting served as a venue to discuss important matters concerning school safety measures, student welfare, and the shared responsibilities of the school, parents, and the community in fostering a safe and supportive learning environment.

The meeting was graced by the presence of the Municipal Government of Kabacan, led by Hon. Evangeline Pascua-Guzman, Municipal Mayor, together with Chief of Police April Lou Palma. Also in attendance were Municipal Councilors Hon. Manny Pedtamanan and Hon. Allan Dela Peña, who expressed their support for initiatives that promote the protection and well-being of learners.

The activity was likewise attended by the Public Schools District Supervisors, who joined school officials and stakeholders in reinforcing the commitment of the Department of Education to learner safety and welfare. Representatives from the Barangay Local Government Unit, headed by Punong Barangay Hon. Manalos Alon, also participated in the meeting, reaffirming the barangay's commitment to working closely with the schools in maintaining a secure and conducive learning environment.

The successful conduct of the Joint School Safety and Welfare Meeting underscores the importance of strong collaboration among the Department of Education, the local government, law enforcement agencies, barangay officials, school administrators, teachers, parents, and other stakeholders in ensuring that every learner is provided with a safe, secure, and learner-centered educational environment.
