EARTHQUAKE ALERT UPDATE!

Earlier today, October 10, 2025, a magnitude 7.6 earthquake shook Cotabato City. At Kimpo Elementary School, teachers and pupils immediately carried out the β€œDuck, Cover, and Hold” procedure as part of their earthquake safety response.

With the quick action of the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Coordinator, Raquel T. Rubio all classes were safely guided to the designated open area after the shaking stopped. Pupils also brought their emergency kits, showing their readiness and discipline during the situation.

The school conducted safety monitoring, attendance checking, and a short debriefing session to ensure everyone’s condition and safety. πŸ’ͺ

We commend our teachers, pupils, and the SDRRM team for their calm, cooperation, and preparedness during this emergency. Together, we stay safe and ready at all times! πŸ™πŸ’š

Kimpo Elementary School family extends its heartfelt gratitude to Hon. Zhulcarnain Julkharnain Sinarimbo for generously providing lunch during our celebration of World Teachers’ Day, Maam Judith Suenan for facilitating this momentous activity, Elden Top Touch Salon, GPTA President, CL Malanon Wakay and its members, SGC, Pacheco Interns, SELG Officers, Yes-O Officers, BKD Officers, parents, pupils,sponsors and other stakeholders.

Your support and kindness made this day extra special for our beloved teachers. Truly, teachers deserve to be honored for their dedication and sacrifices, and your gesture added so much joy to this occasion.
