EARTHQUAKE ALERT UPDATE!

Earlier today, October 10, 2025, a magnitude 7.6 earthquake shook Cotabato City. At Kimpo Elementary School, teachers and pupils immediately carried out the “Duck, Cover, and Hold” procedure as part of their earthquake safety response.

With the quick action of the School Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (SDRRM) Coordinator, Raquel T. Rubio all classes were safely guided to the designated open area after the shaking stopped. Pupils also brought their emergency kits, showing their readiness and discipline during the situation.

The school conducted safety monitoring, attendance checking, and a short debriefing session to ensure everyone’s condition and safety. 💪

We commend our teachers, pupils, and the SDRRM team for their calm, cooperation, and preparedness during this emergency. Together, we stay safe and ready at all times! 🙏💚

Kimpo Elementary School family extends its heartfelt gratitude to Hon.
