June 18, 2026 โ€“ The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) Officers of Notre Dame University โ€“ Elementary Training Department (NDU-ETD) held their first official meeting for School Year 2026โ€“2027, facilitated by ๐Œ๐ซ. ๐Œ๐จ๐œ๐ก๐ญ๐š๐ซ ๐€. ๐“๐ฎ๐š๐ง๐ค๐š๐ฅ๐ข, ๐„๐“๐ƒ ๐€๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ ๐‚๐จ๐จ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐š๐ญ๐จ๐ซ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐’๐„๐‹๐† ๐€๐๐ฏ๐ข๐ฌ๐ž๐ซ.

The meeting commenced with an opening prayer led by ๐€๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ง๐š ๐…๐š๐ฒ๐ž ๐‹. ๐‘๐ž๐›๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐š, ๐’๐„๐‹๐† ๐๐ˆ๐Ž, while ๐‰๐š๐ฆ๐ž๐ž๐ฅ๐š๐ก ๐€๐ฒ๐ž๐ฌ๐ก๐š ๐™๐ž๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐š ๐“. ๐Œ๐š๐œ๐š๐ฅ๐š๐ฐ๐š๐ง, ๐’๐„๐‹๐† ๐’๐ž๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐ฒ, served as the recorder of the minutes of the meeting.

The student leaders discussed key agenda items, including post assignments, flag ceremony leaders of the day, the Oath-Taking Ceremony of Classroom Officers, participation in the Division-Wide Mass Oath-Taking Ceremony, CLAYGO implementation, and preparations for the upcoming Welcome Blast.

Concerns and issues raised by the officers were facilitated by ๐€๐ฆ๐š๐ซ๐š ๐ƒ. ๐๐š๐ซ๐š๐ ๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ, ๐’๐„๐‹๐† ๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ, promoting open communication, teamwork, and active participation among the student leaders.

The meeting concluded at 5:00 PM, marking a productive beginning to the SELG Officersโ€™ commitment to leadership, service, and meaningful involvement in the NDU-ETD community.

The session highlighted the vital role of parents and guardians in guiding, encouraging, and nurturing responsible young leaders.
