𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐆 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝: 𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐭𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕

June 18, 2026 – The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) Officers of Notre Dame University – Elementary Training Department (NDU-ETD) held their first official meeting for School Year 2026–2027, facilitated by 𝐌𝐫. 𝐌𝐨𝐜𝐡𝐭𝐚𝐫 𝐀. 𝐓𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐢, 𝐄𝐓𝐃 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐆 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐞𝐫.

The meeting commenced with an opening prayer led by 𝐀𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐚 𝐅𝐚𝐲𝐞 𝐋. 𝐑𝐞𝐛𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐚, 𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐆 𝐏𝐈𝐎, while 𝐉𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐡 𝐀𝐲𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐙𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐚 𝐓. 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐧, 𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐆 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲, served as the recorder of the minutes of the meeting.

The student leaders discussed key agenda items, including post assignments, flag ceremony leaders of the day, the Oath-Taking Ceremony of Classroom Officers, participation in the Division-Wide Mass Oath-Taking Ceremony, CLAYGO implementation, and preparations for the upcoming Welcome Blast.

Concerns and issues raised by the officers were facilitated by 𝐀𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐃. 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐫, 𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐆 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭, promoting open communication, teamwork, and active participation among the student leaders.

The meeting concluded at 5:00 PM, marking a productive beginning to the SELG Officers’ commitment to leadership, service, and meaningful involvement in the NDU-ETD community.

The Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) Officers officially welcomed the School Year 2026–2027 by leading the first Flag Ceremony of the year, embodying their commitment as young leaders and role models of the NDU-ETD community.

With pride, responsibility, and service, the SELG Officers set the tone for a meaningful year ahead—one filled with unity, excellence, and learner empowerment.

As they stand at the forefront, they inspire fellow ETDians to begin the school year with renewed hope, enthusiasm, and dedication.

The Miting de Avance of DREAM PARTY, headed by Amara D. Baraguir, highlighted each candidate and their inspiring platforms—showcasing unity, vision, and a strong commitment to serve with purpose and passion.

“𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐛𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 — 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐢𝐬 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦.”

Last February 25, 2026, the 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐆 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 was successfully conducted via Google Meet, bringing together families in support of the upcoming election.

The session highlighted the vital role of parents and guardians in guiding, encouraging, and nurturing responsible young leaders.

With shared commitment and collaboration, we move forward in shaping a generation ready to lead with integrity and purpose.

Last February 24, 2024, the 𝐎𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐆 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 marked an important step toward responsible and meaningful leadership for the upcoming election.

The session was thoughtfully facilitated by Mr. Mochtar A. Tuankali, who provided guidance, clarity, and inspiration to our aspiring young leaders.
