In line with the Mindanao Week of Peace held last November 27 to December 1, 2025, with the theme "Multi-Faith in Families and Youth: Hand in Hand for Peace, Harmony, and Justice in the Homeland," CED students attended the Peace Conclave, where they gained valuable insights on promoting peace, fostering interfaith understanding, and encouraging active youth participation in building harmonious communities.

As part of the celebration, selected third-year studentsโ€”Datu Farouk C. Ampatuan, Claire Nathalie Angot, and Reham Sumagayanโ€”participated in the Academic Essay Writing Contest, where they earned first place for their outstanding work.

Additionally, pre-service teachers showcased their pedagogical skills in the Lesson Plan Writing with Peace Integration Contest. The first-place winners were the BEED students Nashiema A. Yusoph, Ira Mae B. Daniel, and Richel Ann G. Piang. The second-place winners were BSED Filipino students Marhanna A. Ong, Joshua Paolo C. Genson, and Adrian Mark O. Sediq, while the third place was awarded to BSED English students Almira U. Magunawal, Barbie Joyce R. Junio, and El-Adhannie M. Ibrahim.

The participation of College of Education students in these activities reflects their commitment not only to academic excellence but also to promoting peace and unity in their communities.

The College of Education successfully held a two-day seminar-workshop for pre-service teachers last November 27โ€“28, 2025 with the theme โ€œLeveraging Technology and AI to Translate Theory into Practical, Personalized Teaching.โ€

The event featured insightful keynote messages from our supportive Dean, Dr. Edgard R. Cabales, our Program Head, Dr. Ginna T. Astillero, and faculty member Prof. Ma. Annie A. Susaya. We were also honored to have guest speakers Prof. Charlito K. Cortel Jr., Prof. Elna B. Omandam, and Ms. Hannah Gay C. Solar, who shared their expertise on technology-driven and learner-centered pedagogies.

A demo teaching session was conducted by the professors, followed by an impressive return demonstration by selected PSTs: Jolaikha B. Manding, Durisa T. Esmael, and Al-Raiz M. Mungkas, showcasing their growing mastery in applying innovative and practical teaching strategies.
