Yesterday, October 10, 2025, at around 9:43 AM, a 7.4 magnitude earthquake struck Mindanao, reminding everyone of the importance of being alert, informed, and prepared for natural disasters.

Last 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗢𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱, the Teacher Education Department joyfully held a mini celebration of Teachers’ Day to honor and appreciate the hard work, dedication, and passion of our beloved teachers.

Though the celebration was simple, it was filled with happiness, gratitude, and meaningful moments that reminded us how valuable teachers are in shaping not only minds but also hearts.

To our dear teachers, thank you for being our constant inspiration and for guiding us with patience, wisdom, and love. Your efforts continue to make a lasting impact on our journey as future educators.

This may have been a small celebration, but it came from big hearts full of appreciation.

‎Last 𝙎𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 8, 2025, our community gathered at 𝘼𝘿𝙏𝙈 𝘽𝙪𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 3, 𝙋𝙪𝙧𝙤𝙠 𝙋𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙨𝙖𝙢𝙖𝙝𝙖𝙣, 𝙍𝙤𝙨𝙖𝙧𝙮 𝙃𝙚𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙨 2, 𝘾𝙤𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙩𝙤 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙮 for the 𝙃𝙄𝙑 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙄𝘿𝙎 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝙎𝙚𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙧, an event that aimed to inform, educate, and inspire everyone about the importance of 𝙃𝙄𝙑 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝘼𝙄𝘿𝙎 𝘼𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙨.

‎The program officially opened with meaningful Opening Remarks from 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙧. 𝙑𝙞𝙧𝙜𝙚𝙡𝙞𝙤 𝙁𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙖, 𝙀𝙭𝙚𝙘𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙑𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙤𝙛 𝘼𝘿𝙏𝙈, who reminded us of the power of education, unity, and compassion in raising awareness and ending stigma.

‎We were privileged to learn from our Resource Speaker, 𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝙎𝙩𝙚𝙥𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙃𝙚𝙣𝙧𝙮 𝙇. 𝘾𝙝𝙞𝙣, 𝙍𝙉, 𝘿𝙞𝙥𝙃𝙇𝙈, 𝘾𝙌𝙎𝙋𝙎𝙌𝙪𝙖, 𝙋𝙃𝙎, 𝙋𝙋𝙎., who shared valuable knowledge on HIV and AIDS—covering prevention, early testing, treatment, and the importance of acceptance for people living with HIV. Their talk inspired students and attendees to be advocates of awareness and understanding.

‎Special recognition goes to our Education students, who actively participated and showed their support throughout the event. Your presence reflects the commitment of future educators in spreading correct information and fostering empathy within the community.

Still feeling inspired by the Student Leadership Seminar/Workshop we had on 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓! It was amazing to see the Education Department so actively involved.

A huge thank you to 𝐒𝐢𝐫 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐬 𝐓. 𝐀𝐛𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐡, 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐲 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐈𝐋𝐆 𝐁𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐌 for sharing his wisdom and experience with us. And a heartfelt thanks to 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐫. 𝐕𝐢𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐨 𝐅𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐚, 𝐄𝐱𝐞𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐃𝐓𝐌 for his uplifting message.

The 2025 Teacher Education Department elections have concluded! We extend our sincere gratitude to all candidates for their dedication and commitment to serving our department.
