𝐌𝐒𝐔-𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐨 𝐢𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐄𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐀𝐘 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔–𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟕

Aspiring students of Mindanao State University-Maguindanao in Paglat took part in the Written Qualifying Examination for programs under the College of Education and College of Agriculture for the incoming freshmen of Academic Year 2026–2027, held on May 29, 2026, at the Paglat Municipal College Function Hall.

The examination covered the programs Bachelor of Secondary Education major in English (BSEd-English), Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Mathematics (BSEd-Mathematics), Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEEd), and Bachelor of Science in Agriculture major in Agronomy (BSA-Agronomy).

The qualifying examination was conducted to assess the students’ basic knowledge and skills relevant to the degree programs they intend to pursue. An oral examination will also follow as part of the screening process. The combined scores from the written and oral examinations will determine whether students will qualify for the programs they intend to enroll in.

The activity was facilitated by the faculty members and staff of MSU-Maguindanao in Paglat, with the assistance of the active Supreme Student Council (SSC) officers of the campus. The examination forms part of the university’s official admission process, ensuring that qualified students are academically prepared for their chosen fields.

Following the previous announcement regarding the schedule of the Qualifying Examination for the BSEd and BEEd programs, MSU–Maguindanao in Paglat would also like to inform all SASE (Category 1) passers who have pre-enrolled in the 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐣𝐨𝐫 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲 that their qualifying examination will also be conducted on:

Students of MSU-Maguindanao in Paglat showcased their skills and discipline during the PATHFit 2 Arnis and Disarming Technique Culminating Activity on May 22, 2026 at Paglat Municipal College gymnasium.

The activity was led by Professor Rodne B. Rufino, their course professor. Participants from BSEd-English, BSEd-Mathematics, BEEd, BS in Criminology, and BSA-Agriculture demonstrated precise arnis movements and disarming techniques, highlighting teamwork, coordination, and confidence.

In the competition, BS in Criminology was declared Champion, followed by BSA-Agriculture Group 1 as First Runner-Up and BSEd-Mathematics as Second Runner-Up. Special awards recognized group strengths: BEEd for Most Disciplined, BSEd-Mathematics for Best in Teamwork, and BSA-Agriculture Group 1 for Best in Synchronization.

The event emphasized not only technical skills but also values such as discipline, unity, and collaboration. It provided students an opportunity to apply classroom learning in a practical, performance-based setting, reflecting MSU-Maguindanao in Paglat’s commitment to nurturing capable, active, and culturally aware students.

Everyone is encouraged to arrive on time, as the written exam will be conducted only during the scheduled hours.

Ang qualifying examination schedule na ito ay para lamang sa Category 1 SASE passers na planong mag-enroll sa BSEd-English, BSEd-Mathematics, at BEEd programs.

Para sa mga pumili ng ibang programs tulad ng BS Criminology, BSA-Agronomy, at sa mga qualified sa College Bound Program (CBP), magkakaroon ng ibang araw para sa schedule ng qualifying examination. Stay tuned para sa mga susunod na announcements.

Mindanao State University-Maguindanao proudly celebrates another milestone in the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT), highlighted by its two Top 5 topnotchers and the outstanding performance of its education graduates.

The Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) program attained a 100% passing rate among first-time takers, with all 12 examinees successfully passing, alongside 8 repeaters who also made it.

In addition, the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) program produced 94 successful first-time takers out of 109 examinees, achieving an 86.24% passing rate, while 34 repeaters also earned their licenses, resulting in a total of 143 passers.
