PAUSE before you POST!

Sagiahatra everyone! 👋🥰

As a concerned educator and development worker, I wish to share my observations and thoughts with humility following the first historic Parliamentary Election in BARMM — inspired by Surah Ali 'Imran (3:104):

"Let there be a group among you who call others to goodness, enjoin what is right, and forbid what is wrong; it is they who shall attain success."

Social media has become a battleground for followers of political figures, flooded with fabricated lies that threaten and undermine the Peace Process. May the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful protect our young generation from being influenced by such conduct, for they are our hope for a better tomorrow.

Let us reflect and take responsibility for the impact of every word we post online. Let us examine our intentions, for we are accountable before the All-Knowing — even for the smallest deed.

I earnestly appeal to everyone, especially parents: guide our children well. Equip them with wisdom and discernment, so they may distinguish right from wrong. Teach them to refrain from posting provocative statements that could only worsen the fragile and volatile situation we face today.

Let us PAUSE before we POST — and ask ourselves: Is this true? Is this helpful? We answer to the All-Seeing for every word we spread. Parents, let us stand guard: teach our children to think critically, to speak with care, and never to add fuel to division. Together, may we build peace, not further strife. 🤲

The most powerful answer to those who spread slander and disturb peace is not ANGER — but PRAYER. May Allah soften their hearts, guide them away from words that provoke DIVISION, and turn them toward building instead of undermining the PEACE we strive so hard to protect.

Let us respond with goodness, for goodness conquers all.

Hasbunallah wa nihmal wakeel🤲
Lahaula wa lakuwata illa billah🤲🤲

Allahumma salli 'ala Muhammad wa Alee Muhammad🤲🤲

Teachers are more than just educators inside the classroom. They are mentors, inspirations, and guiding lights who dedicate their time, energy, and hearts to shaping the future of every learner.

Behind every lesson prepared, every activity designed, and every student encouraged is a teacher who works tirelessly—often beyond what others see. They spend long hours planning, checking outputs, attending meetings, adapting to changes, and finding ways to reach every learner despite different challenges.

The work of teachers is not measured only by the grades their students achieve, but by the confidence they build, the values they instill, and the dreams they help bring to life. Their patience, sacrifices, and commitment create an impact that lasts far beyond the walls of the classroom.

To every teacher who continues to serve with passion and dedication, know that your efforts matter. Your hard work is appreciated, your sacrifices are recognized, and your contribution to society is invaluable.

Let us continue to value, respect, and support our teachers—not only during celebrations, but every day. Because when we honor teachers, we honor the future they help create.
