NDC ADVISORY | SEPTEMBER 21–25, 2026

Following the announcement of the City Mayor regarding the suspension of face-to-face classes, Notre Dame of Cotabato will implement the following learning arrangements to ensure continuity of learning while keeping our students safe at home:

Sept. 21 & 23 – Online Classes | Set A

Sept. 22 & 24 – Online Classes | Set B

Sept. 25 – Asynchronous Learning | Homeroom & Set A

School offices shall remain open, and office transactions shall continue during this period.

Let us remain safe, connected, responsible, and committed to learning throughout the week.

🌿 𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗕𝗔𝗖𝗞: 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐀𝐔𝐍𝐂𝐇 𝐎𝐅 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐍 𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓 𝐍𝐃𝐂

𝙂𝙧𝙚𝙚𝙣 𝙃𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙩 𝙉𝘿𝘾 is more than just a program that was launched for the sake of having one. It is not something meant to be done simply because it is required, or only when people are watching. It is a reminder that caring for the environment, caring for others, and being responsible 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐛𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞; even in the simplest ways.

Through 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 like the 𝘊𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘊𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮, 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘗𝘢𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭, 𝘈𝘥𝘰𝘱𝘵-𝘢-𝘡𝘰𝘯𝘦, 𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘉𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦, 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘙𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘊𝘢𝘮𝘱𝘢𝘪𝘨𝘯, 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴 𝘞𝘢𝘭𝘭, 𝘉𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘵 𝘒𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘵, 𝘗𝘪𝘴𝘰 𝘢𝘯𝘨 𝘒𝘢𝘵𝘢𝘱𝘢𝘵, and the 𝘎𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘏𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘚𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘉𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘦𝘳 𝘊𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘦, these values are brought into actions that can actually be seen and practiced.

Green Heart is 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭; it is something meant to be lived. And sometimes, it starts with a choice as small as picking up a piece of trash. This initiative aims to make Marist Values visible not only in school, but 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙮 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙗𝙚 𝙥𝙪𝙩 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣. 💙

𝐇𝐮𝐬𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐓𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐨, 𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐚 𝐊𝐮𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐬𝐲𝐨𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐰 𝐚𝐭 𝐏𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐬𝐚 𝐍𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Ngayong araw, ika-10 ng Setyembre, na pinangungunahan ng masisiglang palakpakan at makukulay na pagtatanghal, kasalukuyang isinasagawa ang kulminasyon ng Balintataw at Pista sa Nayon 2026, na tampok ang iba’t ibang talento, kultura at malikhaing pagtatanghal ng mga mag-aaral sa presensiya ng makabagong teknolohiya.

Bilang hudyat ng pagtatapos ng mga isinagawang aktibidad, tampok sa programa ang mga pagtatanghal ng mga mag-aaral sa iba’t ibang baitang na naglalayong ipakita hindi lamang ang kakayahan ng mga mag-aaral sa sining at pagganap, kundi maging ang kanilang pagpapahalaga sa kulturang Pilipino habang umuusbong ang AI.

Bawat pagtatanghal ay sinasalubong ng masiglang suporta ng mga manonood, kasabay nito ang patuloy na pagbibigay-buhay ng mga kalahok sa diwa ng pagdiriwang.

Sa pamamagitan ng pagdiriwang ng Balintataw at Pista sa Nayon, nagsisilbing pundasyon ang paaralan upang maipamalas ng mga Marista ang kanilang talento, pagkamalikhain, at pagmamalaki sa sariling kultura.

Habang nagpapatuloy ang programa, nananatiling buhay ang diwa ng pagkakaisa at pagdiriwang—patunay na ang tunay na pagtatapos ay hindi lamang tungkol sa pagwawakas ng isang programa, kundi sa mga alaala at pagpapahalagang naiwan nito sa bawat kalahok.

𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨 𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡, 𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙣 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 — 𝙐𝙍𝙋𝘾 𝘿𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙤𝙧

Amid growing reliance on chatbots for academic work, Notre Dame University Research and Publication Center Director Jericho Y. Baybayan stressed that research remains more critical than ever.

For context, various studies have linked chatbot use to a decline in critical thinking among students and teachers alike.
Included in this trend is a drop in the novelty of work produced by AI-dependent researchers, a gap Baybayan pointed to as needing attention.

Nevertheless, resource speaker Baybayan reassured participants that the use of chatbots should simply be limited and applied wisely rather than relied on outright.

Baybayan laid out the process of formulating a well-written research paper, covering title formulation and the drafting process for chapters one to three, in his seminar.

The research seminar was held at the Bro. Maurus James Doherty Sports and Cultural Center last Friday, Sept. 4, running from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Going back to Director Baybayan, he recalled spending his junior high school years at Notre Dame of Cotabato.

"It was here where I learned, grew, built friendships, and started dreaming about what I wanted to become," he wrote in his Facebook post.
