"Leading with Integrity, and Serving with Purpose"
September 22, 2026| the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSEd) major in English successfully conducted its Oath-Taking Ceremony for the Academic Year 2026–2027 at Ibnu Hajar Hall, formally welcoming its newly elected Student Organization (SO) Officers.
The Oath-Taking Ceremony serves as a reminder to the newly elected officers of the responsibilities they have accepted and the commitment they have made to serve their fellow students. As student leaders, they are entrusted with the duty to lead with sincerity, integrity, responsibility, and dedication.
In Islam, leadership is an Amanah—a trust and responsibility entrusted to a person. It is not merely a position or title, but a responsibility that must be fulfilled with honesty, justice, and sincerity.
Allah says in the Qur’an:
إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يَأْمُرُكُمْ أَن تُؤَدُّوا۟ ٱلْأَمَٰنَٰتِ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهَا
“Indeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due.”
— Qur’an 4:58
Each of you is a shepherd, and each of you is responsible for his flock.”
— Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim.
The BSEd S.O Officers extends its sincere gratitude to our administrators, Program Head, S.O adviser, faculties,students, and everyone who contributed their time effort, guidance, and support in making this Oath-Taking Ceremony a meaningful and successful event. Jazakumullahu khayran to everyone who helped make this event possible. May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta‘ala reward your kindness and continued support.
May Allah Subhanahu wa Ta‘ala guide every leader, grant them wisdom and strength, and help them fulfill their responsibilities and uphold the Amanah entrusted to them.
