Through regular drills and continuous awareness campaigns, the school ensures that everyone remains vigilant, informed, and equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to respond effectively during emergencies.

Special thanks are extended to the school administration, faculty members, SDRRM Team, parents, and stakeholders for their unwavering support and cooperation in making this activity a success.

Following the earthquake that occurred on June 8, 2026, the school administration conducted a Psychological First Aid (PFA) orientation and training for teachers on June 10, 2026. The activity aimed to equip teachers with the knowledge, skills, and strategies needed to provide emotional and psychological support to learners affected by the earthquake and to help them cope with stress, fear, and anxiety resulting from the incident.

On June 11, 2026, the teachers successfully applied the lessons and techniques they had learned during the training by conducting Psychological First Aid sessions for the pupils of Don E. Sero Elementary School. The activity provided a safe and supportive environment where learners were encouraged to express their thoughts, feelings, and experiences related to the earthquake.

The implementation of the Psychological First Aid program was a great success, helping students regain a sense of safety, emotional stability, and confidence as they prepared to continue their learning journey. Through the collective efforts of the school administration, teachers, and stakeholders, the activity reinforced the school's commitment to promoting the well-being, resilience, and mental health of every learner, especially during times of crisis and emergencies.
