In line with DepEd Order No. 014, s. 2026, which emphasizes learner safety, preparedness, and learning continuity during emergencies, Datu Ayunan National High School actively participated in the 2nd National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill this Friday morning, June 19, 2026, at 10:30 A.M.
The activity aimed to strengthen the schoolβs disaster preparedness and promote awareness of proper safety measures during earthquake emergencies. DANHSian teachers and students participated in the drill by observing the standard βDuck, Cover, and Holdβ procedure and the orderly evacuation process.
Following the drill, students and teachers gathered at the school covered court for a post-activity assessment facilitated by School DRRM Coordinator Rafael M. Uy. An informative discussion on earthquake preparedness and safety was also shared by Leah V. Basco, one of the schoolβs Science teachers. Important reminders on disaster readiness and learner safety were likewise delivered by School Head Baibon Aiza M. Gani before the students were dismissed and sent home.

As part of the Instructional Block in the Three-Term School Calendar and the continuous effort to enhance the quality of instruction and learner outcomes, Datu Ayunan National High School conducted a classroom observation using the INSPiRE (Instructional Supervision for Professional Innovation, Reflection, and Excellence) Walkthrough Observation Tool.
The activity was led by District V PSDS Estrellita B. Tan under the guidance and support of SDS Dr. Bai Rojana M. Sinsuat, together with the District V School Heads: Sadat B. Minandang, PhD of LLCS, Teresa E. Apao of Amirol Elementary School, Ruth R. Tumayao of Darping Elementary School, Ronald B. Inamach, JD of Datu Ayunan Elementary School, and Baibon Aiza M. Gani of Datu Ayunan National High School.
The INSPiRE Walkthrough serves as a valuable avenue for providing constructive feedback, fostering reflective teaching practices, and strengthening instructional leadership to ensure quality learning experiences for all students.

Datu Ayunan National High School successfully conducted its SPTA Assembly and Parentsβ Orientation as part of the Opening Block activities for School Year 2026β2027.
The activity featured the presentation of the schoolβs teaching personnel and discussions on key policies, programs, and educational updates. Topics included the Student Handbook and Code of Conduct and DepEd Order No. 009, s. 2026 β Three-Term School Calendar, presented by School Head Baibon Aiza M. Gani; the Child Protection Policy (CPP) and Bawal Bastos Law (RA 11313), presented by Leah V. Basco, CPP Coordinator; DepEd Order No. 017, s. 2026 β Strengthened Senior High School Curriculum, presented by Aslamia K. Amil, SHS Coordinator; and DepEd Order No. 015, s. 2026 β New Grading System, Awards, and Recognition for the K to 12 Program and Class Program and schedule discussed by Salama B. Butongkay, Assistant for Academic Affairs.
Following the assembly, parents and guardians proceeded to their respective childrenβs classrooms for the Homeroom Parent-Teacher Association (HPTA) Meeting, providing an opportunity to meet the class adviser and discuss classroom-related concerns and plans for the school year.

DANHS STUDENTSβ ASSEMBLY
As part of the Opening Block Activities under the implementation of the Three-Term School Calendar, Datu Ayunan National High School successfully conducted its Studentsβ Assembly on June 10, 2026, to orient and guide learners as they begin School Year 2026β2027.
The assembly was led by Baibon Aiza M. Gani, School Head, who introduced the teaching and non-teaching personnel and reiterated the provisions of the School Handbook, including the schoolβs Code of Conduct.
The schoolβs major student organizations were also presented, namely the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), Youth for Environment in Schools Organization (YES-O), and Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD), together with their advisers: Leny P. Labayno (SSLG Adviser), Nancy I. De Asis (YES-O Adviser), and Ramal G. Adil (BKD Adviser).
Important discussions on the Anti-Bullying Policy, Child Protection Policy, and Safe Spaces Act were facilitated by Leah V. Basco, Child Protection Coordinator, to ensure that all learners are aware of their rights and responsibilities and to promote a safe, inclusive, and respectful school environment.
This activity serves as an important step in preparing DANHSians for a productive, disciplined, and successful School Year 2026β2027.

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. HR No. 26-135 issued by City Mayor Mohammad Ali C. Matabalao, classes in all public and private schools in Cotabato City may now resume effective immediately.
This follows the initial structural and safety assessments conducted by the Office of the City Engineer, CDRRMO, BFP, and other frontline agencies, which found school buildings fit for occupancy and the conduct of classes.
Further monitoring and validation activities remain ongoing to ensure the continued safety of learners, teachers, and school personnel.
