In light of the recent earthquake that has shaken not only our surroundings but also our sense of security and peace, this yearโs celebration of Mental Health Week takes on a deeper and more meaningful purpose.
Today, the Guidance Services and Testing Center of Notre DameโRVM College of Cotabato officially launches the celebration of Mental Health Week 2025 with the theme:
โMind Matters: Growing Together in Wellness.โ
This activity reminds us that even in the midst of uncertainty and fear, our minds and hearts remain capable of healing, growing, and finding strength together. The earthquake served as a powerful reminder that life can change in an instant โ but through faith, community, and compassion, we can rebuild not only our physical spaces but also our emotional well-being.
As we move forward, let us take this opportunity to care for our mental health, to listen to one another, and to create safe spaces where kindness and empathy flourish. Let this week-long celebration become a moment of healing and reflection โ a time to nurture resilience, gratitude, and hope.
Together, as one Ignacian Marian community, we affirm that mental health truly matters. Because when we grow together in wellness, we rise above challenges stronger, braver, and more united than ever. ๐

Last week was a meaningful moment for our school as we officially launched the Anti-Bullying Campaignโnot just as a program, but as a promise to create a safer โค๏ธ and kinder space for everyone.
Held at both the Grandstand and AVR, the event was led by our amazing Peer Facilitators, who poured their hearts into making sure every student felt seen, heard, and empowered. Through their powerful messages, thoughtful activities, and honest conversations, we were reminded that bullying has no place in a community built on respect.
A special part of the AVR session was a talk delivered by Maโam Holayssa Inot, who shared an inspiring message about the importance of empathy, courage, and being there for one another. Her words reminded us that even small actions can have a big impactโand that change begins with each of us.
This campaign wasnโt just about awarenessโit was about action. We talked about how to stand up for others, how to reach out when someone needs help, and how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
One quote that truly stuck with us was:
โ ๐ต๐ ๐ถ ๐ต๐๐น๐น๐, ๐ฉโด๐ ๐ถ ๐ต๐๐๐๐. โ ๐ด
To our Peer Facilitators, teachers, and classmates who helped bring this to lifeโthank you. You didnโt just run an event; you sparked a movement. Letโs keep the momentum going. Letโs be the reason someone feels safe, included, and valued every day.

๐On Wednesday, July 30, the SHS Peer Facilitator Club held a simple yet deeply meaningful activity โ the โScavenger Hunt Peer Editionโ. More than just a series of tasks, the activity was designed to reflect the very core of what the club stands for โ building ๐ฝ๐ป๐พ๐ผ๐ฝ, encouraging ๐ฎ๐ถ๐น๐ช๐ฝ๐ฑ๐, and strengthening the ๐ฌ๐ธ๐ท๐ท๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ธ๐ท among members. ๐๐ท
Rooted in the ๐ HEART values of ๐๐พ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ต๐ฒ๐ฝ๐, ๐๐ถ๐น๐ช๐ฝ๐ฑ๐, ๐๐พ๐ฝ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ท๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐, ๐ก๐ฎ๐ผ๐น๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฝ, and ๐ฃ๐ป๐พ๐ผ๐ฝ, the activity invited members to step out of their comfort zones and engage with one another in honest, supportive, and thoughtful ways. ๐๐งธ The five stations offered challenges that encouraged members to ๐ป๐ฎ๐ต๐ on each other, ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ป๐ถ one anotherโs worth, ๐ผ๐ธ๐ต๐ฟ๐ฎ problems collaboratively, and ๐ฎ๐๐น๐ป๐ฎ๐ผ๐ผ ๐ช๐น๐น๐ป๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ช๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ธ๐ท to the people who quietly contribute to the school community โ teachers, guards, maintenance staff, and canteen workers. ๐ซถ๐
One of the most symbolic challenges involved solving a maze using a rope tied to a Pentel pen, without ever touching the pen itself โ reminding us that even with ๐ต๐ฒ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ธ๐ท๐ฝ๐ป๐ธ๐ต, progress is possible when we work together with ๐น๐ช๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ท๐ฌ๐ฎ and ๐ฌ๐ป๐ฎ๐ช๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฝ๐. ๐ง ๐ชขโจ
Throughout the activity, it became clear that the greatest achievement was not simply completing each task, but the way members ๐ต๐ฒ๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ท๐ฎ๐ญ to one another, ๐ฎ๐ท๐ฌ๐ธ๐พ๐ป๐ช๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ญ one another, and ๐ผ๐ฑ๐ช๐ป๐ฎ๐ญ moments of ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ท๐พ๐ฒ๐ท๐ฎ ๐ฌ๐ธ๐ท๐ท๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ธ๐ท. ๐ฏ๏ธ๐ธ
This activity, though simple in nature, had a ๐ต๐ช๐ผ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ท๐ฐ ๐ฒ๐ถ๐น๐ช๐ฌ๐ฝ. It reminded us why we are part of the SHS Peer Facilitator Club โ not just to ๐ต๐ฎ๐ช๐ญ, but to ๐ผ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฟ๐ฎ ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ฒ๐ท๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฒ๐ฝ๐, to ๐ผ๐พ๐น๐น๐ธ๐ป๐ฝ ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฑ ๐ด๐ฒ๐ท๐ญ๐ท๐ฎ๐ผ๐ผ, and to ๐ฐ๐ป๐ธ๐ ๐ฝ๐ธ๐ฐ๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฑ๐ฎ๐ป as individuals who care deeply about others. ๐ซถ๐๐ท
