July 26, 2026, we spent World Mangrove Day doing something truly meaningful at Timaco, Cotabato City.

🌱Mangroves are more than just trees growing in the coastal water. They act as natural shields that protect our land from big waves, provide a home for fish and help clean the air we breathe. Caring for them means caring for the future of our local community.

🍃Proud to have stood alongside Ashamir T. Arumpac Jr., Shameem Alimudin, and Faisa A. Akmad in getting our hands muddy for a great cause. It was a wonderful day filled with teamwork, laughter, and real action for our environment. Keeps Cotabato City green, resilient, and safe for generations to come.🌿🍃

World Mangroves Day | Protect Mangroves Today, Preserve Life Tomorrow.🌿🌊

🍃We celebrate World Mangrove Day on July 26, 2026, reminder that even the smallest trees can make the biggest difference. Mangroves are more than just coastal plants—they protect our shorelines from erosion, reduce the impact of storms, provide a home for countless marine species, and help fight climate change by storing large amounts of carbon.

As stewards of the environment, let us continue to value and protect these incredible ecosystems. Every action matters, whether it's spreading awareness, participating in coastal cleanups, supporting mangrove planting activities, or simply choosing to care for nature in our daily lives.🌿

Our country’s natural resources should be protected, not destroyed.

PAX Silica is presented as a project that can bring economic growth and improve the technology industry. However, many Filipinos are worried about its possible effects on our environment and communities. One of the biggest concerns is its reported high demand for water and energy. 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 65 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 90 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗮𝘆.

💧 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 – The project may use a huge amount of water and energy, putting pressure on our natural resources.

🌾 𝗟𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀 – Farms and rural communities may be affected by large industrial projects.

🔒 𝗟𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 – Our natural resources may benefit foreign companies more than Filipino communities.

True progress should not cost us our land, our environment, and our future. We need development that protects our natural resources and puts the welfare of Filipinos first not only the interests of foreign companies.

Let’s open our eyes, stay informed, and speak up for our environment. 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗿𝗼𝘄.

This exhibit honors nine decades of public service, leadership, and dedication to the Filipino people. Celebrating 90th Anniversary of the Office of the Vice President its history, legacy, and leadership among individuals who serve as the nation's second-highest official. It showcases how ordinary acts of commitment and compassion create extraordinary impact in the lives of communities.

A successful and productive YES-O Monthly Meeting marked another step forward for our organization as we gathered to discuss the 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐁𝐲-𝐋𝐚𝐰𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐘𝐄𝐒-𝐎 and align ourselves with the mission, vision, and values that guide our service to the environment.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the presentation of our three proposed projects and environmental initiatives that will be implemented throughout the school year. These programs are designed to promote environmental awareness, encourage student participation, and inspire everyone to become responsible stewards of nature.

More importantly, the meeting emphasized the importance of our committees. Each committee was assigned specific responsibilities to ensure that every project and activity will be well-planned, properly organized, and successfully implemented.
