The journey toward graduation continues!

Our 4th Year BSIT graduating students of STI College Cotabato took on Day 1 of their Capstone 2 Mock Defense, presenting their projects, ideas, and research before the ICT faculty panel.

A huge congratulations to our BSIT 1st Year and Transferee Students for successfully participating in the Virtual Assistant ACLE!

Your active participation, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn made the session a meaningful and successful one. This activity provided valuable insights into the world of Virtual Assistance, helping our students discover new skills, opportunities, and possibilities in the ever-growing digital industry.

✅️ CLasses will be shifted to ASYNCHRONOUS. Check your eLMS for tasks and assignments.
✅️ SHS 1ST TERM QUARTER EXAMS will be transferred to September 28, 29 & 30. (Second Term will still start on October 5)

✅️ These activities will continue as scheduled:

A SUCCESSFUL CAPSTONE RESEARCH SEMINAR!

Exploring knowledge, strengthening research, and inspiring innovation!
The Department of Engineering and Information, Communications and Technology (DEICT) of STI College Cotabato successfully conducted the Capstone Research Seminar on September 12, 2026.

The seminar brought together our 3rd Year BSIT and BSCpE students, along with the dedicated DEICT faculty, for a meaningful and insightful learning experience focused on strengthening their research knowledge and preparing them for their upcoming capstone journey.

A sincere thank you to our Resource Speaker, Dr. Shyrill D. Ogoc, PCpE, for sharing valuable knowledge and insights with our future IT professionals and engineers.

A meaningful 𝑪𝒂𝒑𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉 𝑺𝒆𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒓 was successfully conducted on September 12, 2026, at STI College Cotabato, with 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇. 𝑺𝒉𝒚𝒓𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝑫. 𝑶𝒈𝒐𝒄, 𝑷𝑪𝒑𝑬 as the resource speaker.

The seminar was attended by 𝑫𝑬𝑰𝑪𝑻 𝒇𝒂𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒕𝒚 𝒎𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒆𝒓𝒔, along with 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒅-𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝑩𝑺 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒖𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑬𝒏𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 taking Methods of Research and 𝑻𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒅-𝒀𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝑩𝑺 𝑰𝒏𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑻𝒆𝒄𝒉𝒏𝒐𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒚 students under Advanced Capstone.

The session focused on the roles and responsibilities of students in the capstone process and the important role of the capstone adviser as a mentor and guide, including key points in paneling and capstone defense. It emphasized that successful research is not only about completing requirements, but also about students taking ownership of their work while advisers provide direction, support, and mentorship throughout the journey.

A valuable session of learning, reflection, and preparation as our students take another step toward completing meaningful and relevant capstone research. 💻📖✨
