The newly elected officers of the Cotabato State University Faculty Association formally took their oath of office today, August 3, 2026, during the flag-raising ceremony held at the University Mini Park. The oath of office was administered by University President Dr. Sema G. Dilna.

The newly elected officers are Instr. Rhanest Tilendo as President, Instr. Samuel Magsipoc as Vice President, Instr. Abdulbasit Silongan as Secretary, Instr. Esmael Lawan as Treasurer, Instr. Wahab Mangambit as Auditor, Instr. Bailuna Kalis as Business Manager, and Instr. Fairudz Dalantay as Public Information Officer.

Serving as members of the Board of Directors are Instr. Bahiya Kid for the College of Agriculture and Fisheries (CAFi); Instr. Marouf Nul for the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS); Instr. Albaser Taha for the College of Business and Public Administration (CBPA); Instr. Sambai Ali for the College of Engineering, Technology and Computing (CETC); Instr. Edwin Anayatin for the College of Islamic Studies (CIS); Instr. Ma. Louina Jailani and Instr. Rodnie Ligaray for the College of Teacher Education (CTEd); and Instr. Khautar Dimacisil for the University Laboratory School (ULS).

Cotabato State University welcomed its first-year students and transferees during the University Orientation held on July 29, 2026, at the University Gymnasium.

The activity was organized by the Office of Student Affairs Services (OSAS), under the leadership of Dr. Helen Mae A. Betito, to introduce the students to the University’s academic policies, offices, services, programs, and campus environment.

The program opened with remarks from Dr. Kundo M. Pahm, Jr., Vice President for Academic Affairs, followed by an inspirational message from University President Dr. Sema G. Dilna. Amerhusein S. Amad, MIM, HRMO Designate, then introduced the University’s key officials. Also present during the activity were the University’s key officials, deans, directors, and faculty members.

Throughout the orientation, the students were introduced to the University’s Vision, Mission, Goals, and Objectives, as well as its academic policies, library services, Registrar’s Office procedures, and the services offered by OSAS. The discussions also covered health services, guidance and counselling, Gender and Development, the proper use of science laboratory equipment, the CSU National Service Training Program through CWTS and ROTC, SPEED, culture and the arts, and campus security. A virtual campus tour was also presented to familiarize the students with the different facilities and offices of the University.

Following the presentations, an open forum was held to give the students an opportunity to raise questions and seek clarification regarding the policies, services, programs, and procedures discussed during the orientation.

Dr. Teng A. Alim delivered the closing remarks, formally concluding the University Orientation for First-Year Students and Transferees.

In accordance with 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲 𝟭𝟰𝟭 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗦𝗨 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗯𝗼𝗼𝗸, all students are required to wear the prescribed University uniform and observe proper grooming while inside the campus.

The "𝗡𝗼 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺, 𝗡𝗼 𝗘𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆" Policy will be implemented as follows:

1. Returning/Old Students: Effective July 17, 2026.
2. Freshmen and Transferee Students: Effective August 17, 2026

Exemptions will only be granted with valid and approved requests.

All concerned are enjoined to strictly comply with this policy to promote discipline, security, and institutional pride.

The Cotabato State University Board of Regents formally and publicly announces that the Search for two (2) Private Sector Representatives to the Board of Regents is now open. Interested applicants must submit one (1) original set and four (4) photocopies of the required documents starting July 27, 2026, Monday at 5:00 pm until August 17, 2026, at the Office of the Secretariat.
