The 7th NDU Research Festival featured the research presentations of faculty members who finished master's and doctoral degrees and the best undergraduate research projects (thesis, feasibility study, and capstone). Congratulations to all the presenters and their research supervisors!

EXTENDED SUBMISSION (June 3, 2022 at 9:00 P.M.

EXTENDED SUBMISSION (JUNE 3, 2022 at 9:00 P.M.)

OPEN TO ALL interested researchers, faculty members, and professionals.

1. These are the suggested research themes:
Gender-based violence
Identity-based conflict
Borders and conflict
Human development index and conflict
Shadow economies in BARMM

2. The paper SHOULD use the Conflict Alert Data as the primary data source. Hence, the proposal should primarily be QUANTITATIVE in nature. For the sample data, please click this link https://conflictalert.info

3. The concept paper should clearly establish the background and arguments of the research, present related studies, explain the methodology, and list down the relevant references. The concept paper should NOT exceed five pages in length.

4. Researchers who expressed their interest and whose concept papers are accepted shall be asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement before being granted full access to the final version of Conflict Alert 2011-2020 csv and codebook.

5. The grant is pegged at 40,000 pesos. For the successful paper, 50% of the grant will be given upon the announcement of successful papers and the other 50% will be given upon the submission of the revised, final draft.

6. Five successful research proposals will be selected for the grant.
